I'm deathly afraid of heights. and bees. It's ironic though, because if I have a rig on, or I'm repelling, or ascending out of a cave, I have no problems, but put me on a ladder, and I can barely make it to the roof of a house. That's really ridiculous. It was custom made, and wanted to give it to you in the first place. Why in the world would they be so inconsiderate now? I would send them a nice e-mail back, stating what was said in the phone conversation, send the e-mail and block his/her e-mail address, so they can't contact you ever again. or just tell them that you did sell it for a dollar to a friend, that's a great idea as well -
I agree. Of course, i didn't do it, right off student status i went into freeflying, then around jump 100 learned crew, and been stuck with it since. RW is so important, and is important to learn the basics. I think sticking with it for a while is a good idea. Last year I was in a hospital with a serious injury. It was SO great to see everybody that came and visited me. It was also great to get phone calls, flowers, packages, etc... Just anything to say you remember and feel for them. It's just good to have people be there for you. If you can't make yourself go to the hospital, why not send a package. I know I was bored, so some people sent me books, and fun activities. it really helped.
