Most of my previewing concerns were sorrouding a more effectie method of aftersale. As for the pre-paid customers, it was more just a cust service type of thing, with the possibility of printing a shot or two. I agree that it is a pain, but like I said, I'm sifting through idea, looking for the best set up. Thanks for the input. For aftersale.. previewing is the ticket.. a lot of people think the video is cooler.. untill they see the pictures and then they want those too... -

The video concession in Byron has a little CF reader that connects to a TV and displays the pics on a TV in a slideshow. We burn the pictures to a cd and then we put the CF card in the reader connected to the TV to show the pictures while their video is being editted and they can see that on the TV right next to it. This only happens when there is time.. I think previewing is overrated, unless you're trying to sell the pictures after the jump. Iwan -
People don't sleep in in Eloy.. load 7 takes off at 9 AM.... instead of load 1 at 10:30 AM... maybe he wants to push it at least it sounds like it.. If you want to learn fast.. make a lot of jumps in a short amount of time.. and it sounds like that is the plan here..

The only thing I would add is another pin to go into the index hole (most cameras have two holes in the bottom, one for the mounting screw, the other can be used as an index hole) This is to make sure it doesn't move sideways.. I'm a firm believer in "if something snags on it.. go ahead and come off my helmet" instead of making it so secure it will never come off. cause then the next thing to "come off" is your head... At the most a small strap over the camera or something like that.. but don't make it indestructable..

Same here.. I've done ground crew for several of my friends, and in most cases this was discussed.. The first time I did it, my friend told me to bail if anything happened.. "I don't need to drag you into this, you don't need to get in trouble with me" If something would have happened though, I dont think I would have bailed. Granted the site was public enough where I "could have seen it happen and checked on him as I was walking by" I would have a really hard time leaving a friend behind..

I know other years Omar and Greg (Gasson) have been doing coach jumps at the total cost of.... a pack job.. you might want to get together with one of those people. If you don't improve from those jumps.. I don't know what would improve your skills Also the Arizona Freefly Training Center people are there, and FlightClub.. I'm sure you'll be able to find a partner to fly with..

I partially agree here.... yes the ad could have been done a bit different to show that the jumper with the skyhook still went for silver as well.. On another note.. (I have no cutaways yet.. so this is from speaking to people that do) A lot of people with an RSL that have had a cutaway still had the silver in place when they landed.. not because they didnt execute the full EPs but because as they were switching from the cutaway to silver, they already had an inflating reserve canopy over their heads.. In their minds they executed the whole thing, cutaway -> reserve but the RSL beat them to it.. ALWAYS stick to your standard EPs, but in case you have a skyhook... that device will probably beat you to it, still go for silver though, cause that's your EP..

Welcome to the club! I went for the first time ever last winter, and I am hooked.. This year I'm getting my own snowboard ( I rented last season) and skydiving will go on the backburner for the snow season probably.. Anyways.. like others said.. expect to spend a lot of time on your ass or your knees the first day.. I dont think I've been more tired in my life after the first day on the slopes with a snowboard. Like the others said, wear good clothing (waterproof pants) and wrist protectors (I didn't but I wish I had even though I didnt get hurt) Have fun!

Alana.. I would seriously consider another Sabre2 for many reasons.. It is not eliptical, but it will go faster cause you'll be loading it a bit higher than what you are doing now. Between the Sabre2 and the Stiletto, the Sabre2 will dive longer (longer recovery arc) when you go on the front risers. I was thinking of going for the Stiletto as well back in December, and I am really happy I stuck to what I knew, the Sabre2 (now a 135) The Sabre2 will allow you to learn all the things you want to learn, and with front riser approaches it will take you at least as far as a Stiletto will if flown right. Call PD and ask them for a 135 demo Of course.. keep trying other canopies as well.. I'm just stating my opinion. I've never flown a Samurai, but I've flown the Nitron 135, Vision 132, Stiletto 135 and I liked all of them.. really liked them.. But every time I did come back to my Sabre2 135..
