Strange foreign clip-- talk show host can't keep a straight face
vdschoor replied to SpeedRacer's topic in The Bonfire
It's a clip from Belgium. The first part is missing so I dont know the exact subject, but they are talking about some kind of mistake that was made in surgery, the woman woke up after surgery and some mistake was made. They don't discuss what it is... It is hilarious though how the host can't stop laughing.. the male guest gets all bent out of shape "I don't see what's funny about this subject.." -
Mine isn't. Mine sucks. It fits fine on the ground, but at altitude the liner swells up and it squeezes my head so tight that I can hear my pulse beating in my ears. I hate it. A waste of $800 if you ask me. I wish I kept my protec. how many jumps do you have on it? I found the helmet needs to be "broken in" and that takes a while, at least thats what I experienced with it. I never baked the liner though.. I dont know if that makes a difference

Don't buy a new helmet The Flat Top Pro is the most comfortable helmet around, and there is no reason why you can't freefly with it.. I do it all the time, and many many other videographers do the same. Iwan

MEMPHIS, TN ... FAA officials and Memphis police officers arrested four individuals after a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Atlanta made an unscheduled stop in Memphis. The passengers were causing such a disturbance on the plane that officials were forced to make an emergency landing in the Tennessee city to remove the unruly crew. Arrested were four Bay Area residents, whose names have not yet been released. They included a Dutch man (authorities in The Netherlands have been notified to begin deportation hearings) and three Americans. The Americans included a woman who had to be led off the plane in handcuffs, refusing to go quietly, yelling something about her "world tour" taking place in Atlanta, and two men. One of the men reportedly yelled "whooooooore" multiple times on the plane, causing great concern to the group of nuns from the Sisters of Charity who were also on the flight. The other man introduced himself to the flight attendant as "Ballsack," attracting the attention of the United Airlines crew as a group to be monitored throughout the cross-country flight. Flight attendant Becky Birnbaum said "It just went from bad to worse. After we served them five rounds of drinks, we decided that we needed to cut them off. But then they just pulled out more alcohol. One of the men just looked at me and said 'Feel the Byron Hate, biyotch!' I'm still traumatized!" OMG that is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time! LMAO! It could totally happen (and probably will). NURSE... oh nurse!!!! nurse? can I get another drink... Nurse!!!!!!

You can buy a booster, or you can buy another access point. So your network would be connected to the DSL line through the router / modem that you have now, and the access point would be connected to that router and provide another wireless (WiFi) access point so you can get on the network.

I have a contact in Hollywood, for Spike TV
vdschoor replied to frequentflyer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
exactly. Even if TV is showing routine things in skydiving, they usually are going to make it seem more dangerous than it really is... That is one thing.. the other thing with skydiving videos is that a lot of times the video itself isn't particularly spectacular.. It's the angle it's shot at, the kind of flying that would be required to get certain shots that makes a video cool.... for us.. because we understand the sport, we understand what is needed to make it look like that. I think that is another major reason we only see the "spectacular" videos (read: accident footage) An example of a video like this is a move that I saw McGowan do once, go over the top of a 4 way formation, and go head down, onto his back underneath, back to his belly on the other side.. a very cool move, and it looks really really cool on video.. but it only looks cool for us, cause we understand what kind of skills are necessary to be able to do that.. The WOW factor is completely different for whuffos.... -

The Byron Boys have bought there costumes.... Atlanta better be ready!! -
The only drawback is money, but there is no problem getting it repacked before it is due. Actually.. if you get it repacked more often.. the reserve will "expire" earlier, since I think there is a maximum number of repacks on them.. There is no problem with having it repacked past the due date either, the only problem with that is that you are not allowed to jump it once it is past it's due date.
