Yep. I don't feel I should dontate my organs to someone who is in prison. That just prolongs the time that I have to pay for them to be there.. not to mention the VERY expensive procedure as well. I FUCKING HATE PAYPAL !!! I have been trying to fix my damn account for well over a year now and they keep sending my shit back and saying that this or that needs to be different. The way they explained it to me was if someone were to go into the master database, it would show up to them as taken. Even though the website isn't up to date on it, it would still be to them. Either way... if someone took Jumpinduo.com, I guess that would save me $10 per month and $35 per year for renewal. LOL That pisses me off because I have called several times and they've told me that it is OK. It just never changes. Grrr... http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Thanks Phree. That DZ by Bowling is long since closed. I called there a year or more ago and they said it's been gone for awhile. I think that was gossip for awhile. There was also one in Wasseun (sp) and that one closed about 2 seasons ago. Trust me... living over 1:30 away from a good sized DZ made me check out ALL the options.

Those are not always up-to-date, Phree. My jumpinduo.com says that it expired in november, however i've paid the money, talked to the host and have talked to the registry company (Names4ever) and they all tell me it is paid for and registered. Great question ! I am wanting to make another Colorado trip this June and would really like to skydive there this time. I haven't in the past due to either flying and have a lot of stuff planned. Hi Rhino: I would say go for it ! My wife and I both bought a rig from Wings in 2001. They are very comfortable, very good for freeflying (from what I've done), and are VERY well priced. Be sure to go articulated. They look great and feel great. I know you live in MI, so if you ever come down I-75, shoot me a PM. I live 3 minutes from the Interstate (exit 125). imo, the "real jumper" still has no business jumping them unless they have the skills to stay with and retrieve it. the same skills omar possesses. levin vSCS#3 Levin: I guess what I meant was those people who have a thousand jumps or so and WILL BE jumping them. I am not saying they should or have the skill (I know I dont, for sure), but since they WILL be jumped by people who may not quite be ready, I think it would be smart for some people who aren't world champions to test them IN ADDITION to Omar and people of that caliber. Do you see what I'm saying ? I think you are totally right, however people like Omar are definetely not the only people jumping with them (as you can see in this thread). Don't you think out of safety concern they should be tested by a broader range of people so they can get feedback on how they work with them as well ? Just my .02. Thanks for the reply, Levin.

Here are some tips I've gathered from taking LOTS of busses in Mexico: - take something to eat/drink (never know when you'll stop somewhere that will offer food/drink) - dress in layers (temps in there can really fluctuate and you'll want to be able to add/remove as needed) - take your own roll of toilet paper (never know if they'll have any... seriously) - take something to do - read, listen, play (obviously) - check your seat before you sit down (I sat in a wet seat in Mexico and my ass was wet for 6 hrs on a bus... that was NOT comfortable. it itched the whole time.. LOL) - take earplugs (you may get loud people, crying babies, yelling kids, whatever. just be ready or it will be a LONG trip) - take a pillow and blanket for sleeping (they may not have enough or any at all) - take eyedrops and lotion (they are very dry) That is all that's coming to mind right now. If I think of more later, I'll be sure to add them. Have fun !

Thanks for the ideas, Lew. I have never been to Perfect North. Mad River has been my extent of winter sports in Ohio. As far as snowboarding and AFF... if you think about what I said, it is very much like that. I have been boarding so long, going down those hills over and over isn't exciting, just like AFF training (not instructing) would be for Omar. It was just a comparison. I think it would be cool to try the indoor stuff. That would get me off my duff and get into shape again. Heh ... I would really like to start SCUBA, but I am not sure I can swing 2 expensive sports right now. I think this whole thing is just really me trying to vent my altitude deprivation. I can't wait until it is nice again. Is there a Safety Day anywhere around here ? Isn't that next weekend ? http://www.brandonandlaura.com
