Congrats ! I bet that was some real fun. I got my first jumps of the season in this past weekend as well. Feels good to be back.

I'm no expert, but you may want to try and describe HOW you are exiting right now so they can perhaps prescribe you something different. Just a thought so they know what you are already trying and may find a fault in that alone.

First of all... is the reason we shouldn't skydive right after giving blood is the loss of blood which equals a loss of red blood cells which transport O2 throughout the body ? If so, I found this on the page of the company I may donate through: During the donation process, the plasma component of whole blood is collected through the use of an automated machine, returning saline and the unused blood components, such as red blood cells and platelets, to the donor. So, you will get your red blood cells back, which would mean you have all O2 transporting capabilities. The only thing you may want to wait for is if you get hurt, you won't have all the platelets and other parts of blood you may need if you get hurt. However, the recovery time is only 48 hours. Nice ! Here is the company I may do this through: BioLife Plasma I think this may buy some more jump tickets. LOL If you donate on Monday and Wednesday/Thursday, you will make some cash to jump on Saturday. Woohoo !! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Umm.. ok. Care to back that up ? http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Hey everyone: I am curious if anyone knows how long you should wait after donating plasma before skydiving. Is there even a wait ? They aren't taking any blood from you, they are merely taking out some of its components. They say you can give several times a week and there is a recuperating time of only 48 hours. So, this isn't the same circumstances as donating blood. Anyone have any information on this ? I would almost say the 48 hours would suffice. Ideas ? http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Seems that I always hear liberals wanting more and more. And, if they get what they want, they want even more. Saddam has had about 12 years to get his act together and he still hasn't done so. It's time to take him out of there and put in someone who knows what the word "humane" is. If we gave Saddam as much time as the French or liberals wanted and he destroyed one or two bombs in that time, they would just claim that they are disarming and that we should give them even more time. Not going to happen. I am so happy to hear that Bush is making this happen. It will be nice to get this done quickly so these boards will go back to normal stuff instead of being clogged with thread after thread of this. Ahh. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

T-30 minutes and counting for the Bush ultimatum.

I thought in the early 90's, when war started, the price of gas plummeted and the value of the stock market shot up. Hmm... where did I read that ? /me goes searching ... http://www.brandonandlaura.com -
I think it may be my packing. I psycho pack it and it always seem to be a little fat on the right side. I guess my rig dresses right ? http://www.brandonandlaura.com

I'm waiting for him to get up to the podium and say that the strikes are starting at this exact moment. That would make history. -
Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Yeah... it was crazy. He was about 12" to my right when he went by me. Pretty freaky !

Hey everyone. I had a good weekend that included 3 jumps. Also, I had my camera and did some filming. The videos are the top two on this page: http://www.jumpinduo.com/skydiving.htm The swoop video is actually our very own Kelly (skygod7777). Enjoy !!!

Kroop or 'ski' goggles? i don't know what to buy...
mountainman replied to Kuper's topic in Gear and Rigging
Hmm. I bought 2 pair and have put (about) 20 jumps or so on each and they are really falling apart. That sucks. I think I'm going to have to go with something else. Has anyone tried those sunglasses looking type that have the harder foam around the edges ? Those looks pretty good. http://www.brandonandlaura.com -
LOL Did you just see that stock go in ? Heh. Thanks for the link. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

I have 2 pairs of those mini FlexZs and the outside plastic "rims" are totally falling off. How long have you guys found these to last ? I am wanting to buy another pair of something else because these are just crappy. http://www.brandonandlaura.com -

This reminds me of a game I used to play online a few years back... ACROPHOBIA. It was great trying to think of words to go with acronyms and then you all vote on the best. Pretty funny !

Well, I made 2 jumps today at Grand Lake Skydiving in Celina, Ohio. Man, I needed that ! It has been 4 months and a couple weeks since I've jumped. It felt so good to be out there again. We had 60+ F and partly cloudly. First jump (#72) was a 4 way with Ken, James, and Greg. It went to shit (edit: because of me), but it was fun either way. Second jump was a 3 way freefly (sit) with Mork and Bill(?). Anyway, that went a helluva lot better once I remembered what the sit felt like. LOL Either way, it was a great time. I am hoping to get down to Skydive Wayne County tomorrow in Richmond, IN. It should be another good time ! Did you get a break in the weather today ? Did you jump ? http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Glad to hear that it's nothing serious ! (At least "deathly" serious.)

I am just saying that I don't hear Ari Fleishner saying, "Check out www.foxnews.com/saddamisaterrorist/ for all the information linking them together." What do mean they could "quote them safely"? http://www.brandonandlaura.com
-
Personally, I dont hear them quoting websites very often. How would they have "mention" this link, if you don't mind me asking ? http://www.brandonandlaura.com
