As far as technology goes, I look at the whole TerraServer type satellite imaging technology. One of my friends who follows this stuff was telling me that they have allowed them to now take even more detailed photos of places/people. Before, they were only ALLOWED within a certain "closeness", but are now allowed even closer. I am just trying to say that I bet it is incredible what it is actually capable of when sent to the max. Very cool stuff. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

mountain biking It's not on the list (I know you can't have everything.) and I don't do it much since I live in crummy Ohio. However, whenever I do it, it is the best feeling I get. I love bicycles.

For the woman, I hear it is good to do it right after the birth of your last child if you know you don't want anymore. They can do it while they're "in there". Just a thought. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Also, if you are interested in having any of these photos bigger and higher quality, please let me know. I'll send you the higher quality photo by email (1360x1020 pixels). Just if you want a sunset or beach as your desktop.

I think it is how one is brought up. Personally, I believe that if you are brought up in a hair salon by your mother, you may lean the other way if you're a boy. However, if you are brought up on a large farm by your parents, you will be a little more "adjusted". Dunno. Just my thought. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Me too. On one trip, they lost my baggage on the way there and on the way back. That is 2 for 2. Never flew with them again. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Glad you like that one Viking! The WHOLE sky looked like that. I am planning on buying a nice digital camera for taking more photos. I really enjoy it!

Hey everyone. Just thought I would share with you this... First is all the photos from our Mexico trip. We were there for 11 days/10 nights over Winter Break. It was a great time, however I wish I was Eloy instead. Ah well, I'll know next year. You can see all the photos here: http://www.jumpinduo.com/photos/mexico02/ Also, I have all the photos I took from Christmas parties. They are more family related obviously, but there are some cute photos of the nephews/nieces: http://www.jumpinduo.com/news/xmas02/ I hope you enjoy them!!

SCUBA divers - coral reef infection ( a question )
mountainman replied to mountainman's topic in The Bonfire
Thank you all very much for your time to reply. I would be very interested in Chuck's opinion as well since he is an instructor and all. I think I may be just asking this to try to find out where this came from. I guess being in Mexico would lend me to pretty much get it from anywhere. Ah well. Also, I did not get any cuts from the coral. I was sure to stay above them and not get close. I was just refering to getting cut and infection and getting water and infection in my throat... I was hoping(?) there was a relation. Thanks again guys!! -

SCUBA divers - coral reef infection ( a question )
mountainman replied to mountainman's topic in The Bonfire
Hi there those of you who are the underwater type. I have a question for you: While snorkeling in Mexico this past Saturday ( my first time ), right when I got in, I looked up too far and got a big gulp of water in the tube and ( I think ) down my throat. This was right over some shallow water with a lot of coral. Some people at work today was telling me that when you get cut by coral, it can cause some infection since it is a living thing. Here is the question: can this also cause infections in the throat if you swallow the water around it? My throat started hurted about 2 hours later or so and is feeling just as bad, if not worse. What do you think? How long will it last? Should I seek a Rx? Thank you for all your help. -
Man, those were the good ol days. I miss that. LOL!! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Does anyone know how to turn that "auto powersave" function off? I have looked through the menu, but I must be missing it. Thanks. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

What kind of download speeds are you guys getting? I'm getting about 6kbps. A bit too slow for a 125MB file. LOL http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Oh yeah. You can also probably go to your local computer equipment shop and buy a generic brand firewire capture card for like $15 or so. Don't expect anything grand or great tech support, but it'll probably work nonetheless. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Shell out the $40 or so for this card and don't loose resolution for it. You'll wish you had: http://pcworld.pricegrabber.com/search_prodsummary.php/masterid=372087/search=adaptec%2520firewire/ut=18d2ec8d0278efa4 http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Hey guys: I have uploaded/added two new skydiving videos of my wife and I on our website. First allow me to give you a little background of each. First of all, these videos are from VHS tapes that I dubbed onto my PC120 MiniDV. So, the quality is a bit less than it should be, but it'll do. tandem|2000 - This is the original video of our tandem jump that we did in October 2000 at SGC. The video was made by Mike Ashley and is still one of the best I've EVER seen. It is our first jump. The file is about 27MB or so, but it is over 10 minutes long. It is the FULL video from the VHS. coach jumps|2002 - This is a video from this past Richmond Boogie where Laura and I did some coach jumps with Orly King. Laura is first and she had some flailing going on. She said she was nervous to jump with someone like that and have video. I believed her after our last jump together ... she did awesome! She has 12 less jumps than me and was just as stable as me and wasn't flailing around like she is on the video. I did pretty good on this jump. I was very relaxed until about 2/3 of the way through. Ah well, it still turned out great. :) I just took his original video and added music and cut the fat so it's a bit shorter. And now, off to the videos. You can find them both under the "skydiving videos" section. Remember to just "right click | save as": http://www.jumpinduo.com/hobbies.htm I sure hope you like them!!! :) http://www.brandonandlaura.com

I apologize for not searching more for the fix. Here it is: http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?50@123.LFaTace0wPR.1@.1de6e1bc You basically download a small fix from Adobe and it will work once you install it. I hope this can help someone.

Hey guys. I am trying to export timeline on my Premier 6.5 using Advanced Windows Media with settings @ 384 or 700 kbps. After I fill all information in and select a file location and name, I click OK. When I do so, I get the error message you see as attachment. If you can help me and tell me what I need to fix it, I would be forever grateful. Thanks! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Well, the confirmation emails are out now as well. From what I hear, they are being sent out gradually in the order of when you won. I got both of my emails for them. I won one and "my dad" won one.
