Hey all!! I remember that there was a thread about some people looking for a person that will do a skydiving wedding. HERE is a guy that will do them for free. Hey all!! I didn't get much help in the GEAR section on this part of my question, so I thought that I would bring it out here to the masses. For anyone who has never been to THIS website, I would go and watch the movies on this page. The "waiver video" is hilarious!! Also, the one right under that is pretty damn scary. I think there is one part of it with a student jumper and the JM is having the hardest time holding on and they are UPSIDE-DOWN a lot of the time. Most of you sound just like me when it comes to the BEST part of the skydive: all the way from gearing up to walking back to the hanger. Worst part....packing would have to be one and leaving the DZ. I have already told Laura that I am planning on them for next year. Sounds like the airplane selection was a bit on the thin side, but hey, if you dont have to wait to go up, you can't complain too much. Maybe next year they'll have some tailgates and a balloon to try out. That would sure make it closer to Quincy, and possibly take over.

I've spent about 2 months in DFW area during a camp. And yeah, it isn't really that hot or humid.....as long as you STAY INSIDE!!! Man, coming from Ohio, I thought that the humidity was horrible with the heat if you did anything more active than stand. If you go man, you gotta get a contract with your boss to fly Seth, his g/f, my wife, and myself down there on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Yeah, Viking.....you are still on student status. You'll be suprised how fast that disappears once you are buying gear, gear rentals, jump tix and eventally a rig. You'll think someone got ahold of your ATM card. heheh.... As far as the altimeter goes, my wife and I both just with new Altimaster III's. I love them. I used a Alti II, but the thing was just too damn big. These things are small, easy to read, and they look pretty slick (available in different colors). So, I would go with them. Ask Phreezone about his alitimeter with the digital bars that go in the circle (can't remember the name).

This is a very delicate situation, so we'll have to approach this with caution.......GO SKYDIVE!!! Isn't that a no brainer. Just think, if you take those days off and have the weekend there too, you could get done AND get lots of fun jumps in. I did AFF and I can contest that if you just jump your ass off, you'll feel SO much more comfortable. Just my opinion....
