  1. Hi John My post was directed to kennedy but since you and Kennedy play the Amos and Andy, laurel and hardy, Laverne and shirly routine. Lets go back to what to the thread that your responding to Police officers in the US are responsiable for a higher percentage of domestic violence than the any other occupation in the US. This includes guns, physical and mental abuse. Since Mr Kennedy will soon be a police officer than there's a higher probability (could be a guess just like he responded to my earlier post)) that he will abuse his domestic partner. Read the post for the source of domestic violence in the US stats. Abbott & Costello had some great routines "Who's on first", "Niagra falls" and others To bad PJ is MIA for a while or we could have a routine of the Three Stooges of SC discussing GC. JR to Kennedy affirmative Kenndy to JR affirmative JR to PJ affirmative Kennedy to PJ Affirmative PJ to JR affirmative PJ to Kennedy Affirmative LMAO R.I.P.
  2. Good point JR, I mean the sniper in Washington could have bought the city to a standstill and killed all those people at random by running up to them and beating them to death with sticks couldn't he. Well, the guy didn't exactly go out to a gun shop and buy it legally, now did he? No, he picked it up illegally (the gun was stolen/missing from a Washington state gun shop). Besides, as I've asked so many times, what sense does it make to base policy on the one time events instead of the everyday realisty? Would you base lifeguarding policy on the idea that a tsunami will show up every day? Hi kennedy Are you and JR playing Laurel and Hardy. One guy ask the question and the other one has the punch line >Well, the guy didn't exactly go out to a gun shop and buy it legally, now did he? No, he picked it up illegally (the gun was stolen/missing from a Washington state gun shop)." The gun shop in you quote (The bullseye) is locacted in tacoma Wa After the gun was traced to that dealer. The feds found over 250 guns "stolen/missing" from that one store. We haven't heard how the shooter got the gun have you? The Gun store owner lost his gun dealers liscense, he and his insurance company paid $2,000,000 in civil suits related to the Wa D.C. sniper attacks and the ex dealer is now faceing Fed charges for failure to pay federal income taxes for a number of years (he never filed). Maybe one liscensed gun dealer in the US was a very bad business man or dumber than a rock. I'm not sure about the shooters past criminal record but if he didn't have a criminal record he could have bought the gun over the table rather than under it. The only reason the gun was traced back to the dealer was because the shooter got caught with the gun. The dealer allegedly didn't even know the gun was missing from his inventory until the shooter was caught. Can you explain how a Business man can afford to experience a inventory shrinkage of 250 guns total value of maybe $50-$100,000 can stay in bussiness? IMO the trail of the "stolen gun" used by the sniper team from the gun shop to the shooters may be uncovered in the future. R.I.P.
  3. Some of those "ACCESSORIES" look like bad news if you get stopped by the police. It does say that their sutable for 3-4 yr oldsbut big brother and sister might use that stuff for doing a no no. Officer "that stuff isn't mine, my little 4 yo bro/son/daughter must have left it in my car". R.i.P.
  4. Hi Lou I'm a old fart and am just amazed by the power of the internet you way over there at work and we can almost discuss the jumping scene with you in real time. As far as collecting the bountyWhy don't we go a step further and pay you guy's the same we're paying the contractor's your job is probably a lot more dangerous than a contractor's for a lot less pay. Equal pay for equal work! Stay safe. From what I'm seeing almost everyone pro or anti war, political cons or liberal still supports what you guy's are doing. I know i wouldn'y want to change places with you for any amount of money. But it's not about the money it's about being a pro. R.I.P.
  5. So I guess you think people exercising their right to free speech are just on a power trip? And people exercising their right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures (telling the cops no) are just on a power trip? And people exercising their right to freedom of assembly, they're just on a power trip? Or is it people exercising only the rights you don't think they should have that are "on a power trip?" Hi kennedy Sorry but you can "guess" whatever you want to, right or wrong keep on guessingno point in saying that you guessed right or wrong is there? I'm "guessing" that you not beating your domestic partner anymore. Since you not a real policeman yet. The Chief of Police of Tacoma lived in the same town as I do and he murdered his wife and commited suicide in front of his little kids in the parking lot of a strip mall where we shop. The acting chief of police only stayed in office for one day before she was relieved due to prior knowledge and assisting the police chief in harressing his wife. Some outsiders were requeted to review what happened and why. One of the experts was a person with experience in domestic abuse by police officers. She reviewed the Tacoma PD's records and found that reported domestic abuse by police was less than 1%. The expert stated in the real word the incidence of domestic violence is higher in the PD than in the general population. The chief used his work gun and one of the questions asked after the fact was when he was stressing out the day before the incident why the city manager/human resources didn't ask for his gun. Wanna "Guess" why? If you want to you can "Guess" if I'm blowing smoke or you can google it for your own info. The chief's name was David Brahme (Sp?)and his wife's name was Crystal. The local paper is the Tacoma tribune. Guess who R.I.P.
  6. Hi Dave Sounds like the life insurancebenifit hadn't been increased for a very very long time Your question about the "domestic partner issue" can be a whole new can of worms and end up being a political football, that will just end up delaying the past due increase. Wonder what the policy is on private life insurance if one partner dies? It will be interesting to see how the feds deal with this issue compared to private industry. R.i.P.
  7. Pysch Ops Looks real stupid but some G.I.s serving in Iraq had loved ones back home miss a couple of heart beats or worse Lets support our G.I.'s and their families now and when they return home
  8. Of the concealed carry holders --I-- know, that's the last thing they want to do, also. My guess is that the majority of those with a carry permit feel the same. - Jim I don't yet have a CHL, but I'm thinking about getting one. My mentality about the whole thing is "I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." I would assume most people (that have a permit at least) see it the same way. Hi Jim We had a CWP just because we could but never carried, so when it was time for CWP renewal we let it expire saved $50/3 yr's. OTOH last month the chief of police's car was broken into and some slime ball stole the Chiefs work gun from his unmarked car. Do you really want to go someplace where you think you might need a gun, or lock the gun in you car when you don't need it and have some slime ball steal it. BTW the COP of seattle hasn't got his gun back yet R.I.P. R.I.P.
  9. Hi Dex hi Dex It's hard to put a value on the personnel reward of having saved a human life. Medic's, Corpsmen are priceless and have a very challenging job. Your #1 in my book. BTW I was never in combat I was in the Air force we don't do combat
  10. Your opinion is incorrect for the large majority of gun owners. Every person has the right to defend themself from harm, regardless of the method used for defense Affirmative but there's the law thing about reasonable force vs threat. Thats why people who carry can't just whip it out and blast away because some dude is bitch slapping them. Or is fleeing with your car that they just stole from in front of your house. (texas blast them) I'm sure reasonable force has been discussed in SC before more than once or ten times at least
  11. But but but If a fun jumper makes 100 jumps at $5 profit WAG thats $500 and a tandem makes only 1 jump thats only $50 profit WAG so 10 tandems in one day equals the profit from one fun jumper in a yr. Golly gee There's money in them there tandems the more tandems the more money a DZO can make.

    Chicks in Trucks

Hi amazon Some of us guy's would need a step ladder to get into your truck or how a boost up
  13. Hi Rhino I think stuff like this is SOP in guerilla warfare. Women, children, white flags, ambulances booby traped bodies etc, in the mind of the guerilla's the ends justify the means. No surprise R.I.P.
  14. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if your's is wrong. Affirmative R.i.P.
  15. The basic concept is flawed and doesn't pass the smell test. In this example a women is required to interview for a job in the sex industry. What would happen If a guy was required to do the same for gay sex industry? I think someone maybe opposed to the legalization of prostitution is trying to make a point and have the industry crimilized so that goofy stuff like this doesn't happen. Requireing virgins to work as prostitutes because their unemployed or they will be cut off from unemployment payments R.I.P.
  16. Hi GM Damn the UN sounds like SC People are being killed in large numbers and the UN is arguing about a definition to describe the killings, instead of taking some positive action to stop the killing. Very strange, very sad R.I.P.
  17. Then how do you explain how gun crime has gone up since handguns and semi-auto long guns were banned? (See attached chart) The statistics contradict your theory... Are you now starting again? Isn't it enough that it has been proven that your assumptions do not hold water. Are you not capable of reading? I explained in DETAIL what was wrong with your "chart" (e.g. the inclusion of replica guns, the definition of "gun crime", the increases due to changed collection methods etc. etc.) and you still make those stupid claims. And you still ignore the updated numbers as per 2004 which show that the chances of being a victim of crime is at a 23 year low. So you don't listen when people explain the stats to you - you don't listen when people who have lived / live in the UK give you first hand information - no you just carry on and on. What is wrong with you???? Mikkey Your responding to a cut copy and paste without a referee to declare a winner, and you expect JR who started the thread to tell you why a blind man can't see BTW IMO people in the US don't carry guns to protect themselves from gun violence or any other type, but just because they can and they want to its a power trip. A private citizen discharging his weapon or gun in response to a crime is the last thing a responsiable person wants to do. R.I.P.
  18. Not into tats but that one's a keeper. I mean thats the best I've seen yet.
  19. Hi A statue for GW Why not great RPG target. SH honored GW's dad by installing a mosaic picture of dad in the entrance to the main Hotel in Bagdad. So everyone entering would walk on it with their dirty shoe's. Before we call GW a hero or a bum lets wait and see what happens in Iraq the next four yr's. I hope it works out ok for everyone. I support out vets and their families, you will not be forgotten. R.I.P.
  20. Hi Kennedy There's been 117 post up to yours Why confuse the issue with the facts The tittle and author of the thread was was enough to know what was going on. I'm not getting paid to read this crap You and JR have a well known track record on gun control. We don't have any unrealistic expectations that you wouldn't agree with JR if he said 2 plus 2 was 3. What was the purpose of this thread in your opinion? to change anyone's opinion about GC? to try and get sucker some brits to debate GC issues A debateing exercise in general. Sorry I won't play that game, Feel free to complain to a moderator. R.I.P.
  21. The MG probably had to be pushed off the ramp because it wouldn't start We had a MG for a while, Old joke Know why brits drink warm beer? "Their fridge is made by Lucas". Lucas was a brit company that made a lot of the electical parts for brit cars. The MG was nice when it was running but unreliable. Our starter caught on fire once driveing down the road, etc, etc. R.i.P.
  22. Steve & BSBD Those pic's are great and your not old now
  23. Damn Good Airplane No more calls, we have a winner. From what I have heard it is the only Airplane that has never had an AD issued on it. Sparky Don't know about the AD thing but our pilot used to bitch about the engine torque on the Howard requiring a bunch of rudder input on TO roll to keep it going straight. The pilot did like to fly the airplane
  24. Packin cathy is the queen of packers in my book and I wouldn't doubt that she's personally packed 200 rigs on at least one weekend Some of the other things that go along with packing: Hands that are calloused and cut up. Work your butt off Bad back Bad knee's hyperactivity Sweat Some customers try not to pay. Some days no money due to weather. If your into nylon Pack till you puke!! R.i.P.
  25. Hi MTH Thanks for the straight scoop. Your a credit to the USPA members that voted you in office again. Hope you run again and....
