Mr Rich is a big boy and more than capable to explain his point of view. However i also agree with wendy it all comes down with MR Rich it allways come down Guns & Bullets. I'm thinking that maybe Mr Rich's point is that England is being over run by hordes of violent criminals because the law abiding brits are not permitted to carry guns to protect themselves and kill all the violent offenders. IMO to make Mr Rich happy and stop picking on the brits please pass a right to carry gun law so he can choose another country to convince them they need to be like the rest of us. BTW don't belong to USPA or the NRA R.I.P.

Maybe and thats final We were a Dept of the Army civilian and had the oppurtunity to join all the moral post activities, includeing the FT lewis sport parachute club. Choppers incliuding chinooks, blackhawks & huey's. Cost was usually $1/day. That was the good news. Noe for the bad news: I'm sure some army posts were more jumper friendly thsn Ft lewis but we had to show up at the club house 2 hr'sprior to the bird arriving at the LZ for the jumper safety briefing, Than another acft safety briefing from the chopper crew if/when they showed up. We usually figured out the chopper wasn't going to show until we had waited at the LZ for 2 hr's. After the novelty of jumping from the choppers wore off, a lot of military jumpers that had the $$ went to the local DZ, paid the commerical rate, the plane was always there and they got treated like civies. Sport jumping at Ft lewis has been cancelled the last we heard, but I think they still have a demo team. R.I.P.

Hi Puppet QuoteHow much time you got left to serve with the reserves? 2 weekends a month for $400 might not be worth the time you'll be away from the DZ. Not sure about england but you might be able to make that much $$$ packing on the DZ in 1 weekend/month. Or you could try for a boy toy job. /reply]

I agree, but under personal responsibility the parents would be responsible not to make a decision during a highly emotional period. (I agree that as a lawyer it is pretty low to go after people in such a situation, but at this point we don't even know who made the first contact, so instantly blaming the lawyer isn't right either) I agree instantly blaming the lawyer isn't right But it is fun

Of course that's not known. But, I do believe that the lawyer HAD to have some feelers out. It's not like the English parents picked up the yellow pages and picked his name out within a couple of days of the incident. I can therefore safely assume some affirmative conduct on part of the attorneys... I object your honor. Law rocket is a member of the bar and should know better than believe anything thats not a fact proven in a court of law. (Just yanking on your robe rocket). OTOH R.I.P. is just a lawless uneducated know nothing old fart that thinks 2 + 2= 4. I know I'm guilty of contempt of some lawyers, practising law without a liscensesee you all in 30 days if i get ourt with good time R.I.P.

Alittle history about missouri politic's: John Ashcroft ran for gov of Mo. The incumbent died prior to the election but mr ashcroft lost the election against the incumbents wife. GW then appointed Mr ashcroft as the US atorney general. Ashcroft is the same dude who spent our tax money to cover the bare breasts of a statue in the lobby of the justice dept. Some of his press conferences showed the statue of the hussy in the background. Mr ashcroft moved on after GW was reelected for some unknown reason. Missouri might be a big state but they have had some real losers for politicians on both sides. I'm not surprised at some politicians taking cheap shots at innocent dead people especially when there's a election in Nov. BTW Harry S Trumen was a missouri boy who ran a clothing store prior to being elected president and had close connections with Mr Pendergast a good old boy politician from KC. Mr Trumen decided to drop the A bomb on japan just before they surrended. R.I.P. -
On a different note: I think it is a little early to paint a bad picture of Victoria's parents. I don't agree with the suit. I blame the lawyer for seeking an opportunity to make money (being that he has been involved in a similar lawsuit before and likely sought out family members to file). I am sure the parents have been in a horrible state of grieving, and one of the natural steps is to try to make sense and cast blame on someone. That is true no matter what kind of death. I just blame the lawyer for pouncing on them in his most opportunistic time (when they are in the shock and anger state of grief).*** Bingo!!. The parents whouldn't have a clue where to start, otoh the lawyer was johnny on the spot to "help the parents out" while they were still in schock from their tragic loss. Wouldn't be be surprised if the lawyer took a flight to england to comfort the grieving parents until they signed the contract I think it's to late now for the parents to cancel their contract with the lawyer even if they wanted to R.I.P.

Hi Matt I think you and amazon are talking apples and oranges. We dodged the draft in 1966 by joining the air force The reserves and national guard at that time (at least in NY state) were not a option. The waiting list was so backed up you had to get on the list way before you turned 18. College deferment before the lottery system replaced the real draft. Most of the folks who got the 2S deferment were kids who's mommy and daddy could afford to pay their college tuition. Us Poor folks just did our patriotic duty, served our country like we wanted to. I don't agree with everything amazon says but I respect her right to say what she thinks because she's the real deal. I will always look up to the lady Until even after I die. IMO Argueing about this political crap is a waste of time and don't mean shit. Visit the trivia and history forum and read about the good stuff, Farting in the airplane, and toe sucking R.I.P.

Yep, she definitely takes care of people and will stand behind her work. We really missed having her at Lost Prairie this year. But, like you said, a jumper should never expect that out of a packer. I know that every time I strap a rig on my back it's my responsibility, regardless of who packed it. Packin Kathy is at the top of the packing food chain. Can't say enough about the lady, or her crew. Her warrenty is part of who she is. don't expect other packers to do the same. Read the waiver R.I.P. R.I.P.

If I got my facts straight The lawyer filing the suit already won a $$$$ suit in a skydiving incident in western Missouri in the last decade I think the lawyer found the deep pockets were the airplane engine manufacture. So this time he ran to his computer hit the cut copy paste sold the grieving family his past track record and files the SOS. R.I.P.

Innocent definition? DEAD is DEAD and this failure to communicate will continue will continue after we're long gone. We dropped the ball in our chance to be a world leader and stop the killing weeks ago. But our sec of state came up with the biggest pile of bull shit that resulted in more people getting killed. After this last incident (war) whatever we've created a another generation of little kids that will grow up hateing and teach their kids (that haven't been born yet) the same. Wonder what Jimmy Carter, or Powell would have done. You all used up all the rockets, bombs and bullets we gave you in your effort in urban renewel and self defence. To bad we're don't have any more to to resupply you right now how about waiting a couple of yr's. We'll see what happens in NOV. R.I.P.
