  1. Hi, I need another jumpsuit for speed skydiving competition. Basically I'm looking for gripless tony pit special with booties. It should be very tight and with very short booties. Booties should be pretty short and with my legs straight and toes pointed they should be at their full extension and with as few folds as possible. W/o toes pointed I should be able to bend my knees for landing. Inseam zippers are prone to get open at high (250+ mph) speed, so I lean toward solid construction w/o any zippers. I'd appreciate if anyone could provide me with some info on difference between Mega, Mega Airspeed, and Mega XL kind of booties and which one would be more suitable for my needs. It would be great if anyone have any pictures to show the difference. I emailed TonySuits already, but haven't received any replay yet. ProTracks

Craig, I have a funny though. Sometimes, when I do a speed dive I slow down up to 40ish mph (41 mph is the slowest captured by my ProTrack). Can that fool ProTrack and make it shutdown or skip the second alarm ? What if I do speed dives with SLO mode ? 3. was it second alarm or alarm ? second will beep anyway, if you still in freefall or under the canopy. i'm not sure if you can set the third alarm off under fast canopy. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... Speed Skydiving Forum

  6. it's a must for me since i'm doing speed dives. i have protrack mounted on the rig webbing and two prodytters in my helmet. the only problem that i have to have my laptop at dz if i plan to do more then 10 jumps. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... 7. i got my protrack after i had more then 50 jumps. i restored the missing jumps from my log book. also, to make it clear, the deployment altitude from protrack is not pull altitude, it's a ltitude when fall speed is significantly decreased, so it's lower then pull altitude. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... 8. Wo! That's a cool graph! For me... Math usually sucks, but I guess not when its involved in skydiving! Did you do that yourself? is it a program?
  9. here is the chart of my deployment. i think it's kinda interesting that my deployment with expirience went down first and then a little up :) stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... Speed Skydiving Forum
  10. > The only problem I have is when going head down...my visor blows back! check that visor snap. i do speed dives with my z1 and I'm constantly going over 250 mph headdown. And I don't keep my head even witht the horizon, I look down and that should put a lot of stress on the visor. In regular headdown relative winds goes with the direction visor closes, so I'm surprised that your visor opens. I'd expect this to happen goin stand. I can see that my visor bends on high speed, coz my field of view distorts and sometimes it feels like the helmet will be blown from my head, but I never had problem with the visor, even after I hit the door of the plane with my visor open and almost broke it. I screewed it back on the ride to the altitude and everything was fine. stan. -- if everything's under control, you are not going fast enough ...
