Nice attitude. Before skydiving I wore mostly hiking type shoes because they were comfortable. When I started skydiving they worked out for awhile but when I bought new ones I found that I had some seroius problems with the amount of traction on the bottom of them. Swooping isn't fun with shoes that don't slide. I bought some vans and it solved my problems. You can call them skate shoes all you want but for me they are skydiving shoes. One other thing to mention is that there is an effect caused by other computers that make you think your computer is slower than it really is. I run into this a lot at work because we are unable to replace the office computers every year, more like every 5-6 years we are replacing them. People end up buying or using a computer around thier home that is much faster than the one they use at work and complain that thier computer is slowing down. In reality, they are just getting used to something that is faster and they need to learn to make due. Windows defrag sucks. Get something like perfect disk. That will make a much bigger difference. Is your profile accurate? If it is you should go ahead and consult with a camera person at your DZ regarding this project. They might tell you that you need more jumps. If they don't tell you that, I am sure someone at your DZ has a dremel tool that you can use. I think you would be hard pressed to find a DZ where no one has one or knows someone they can borrow one from. Hell, I keep mine in my DZ locker. Yes it was my POV. I have swooped those trees so many times, it was kinda crazy, I was coming out of the turn and the canopy was diving and I decided to stick with it, and then it leveled out and I new I was fucked for a good length of time. Wasn't really hurt or anything just shook it off and went and had a beer. The majority of the editing was done in premier pro 2, that is for the layout, audio, and some color correction. The special effects were all done in After Effects. The cutout of me is something I did by hand with a tool called 'Vector Paint' which basically lets you paint a mask onto a frame. I did about 45 frames by hand, it took about 4 hours. I could have done it faster if I owned a tablet but that is something I am considering buying when I have more money. (I want an intuos3) As for the music choice, the middle song wasn't the best pick it should have been faster, yeah... Thanks for the comments hope you like the video. I can not recomend anything better. These laptops don't break easy and you can get pretty stripped down versions for cheap. Don't be afraid to look at refurbished / outlet. These laptops last forever. They have some X series laptops on outlet right now for around $1000. They are super light and have long battery life for the size. They have R series laptops for around $700. All of them come with a 1 year warantee standard. They are really good about it if something does actually break. If this laptop is only going to be used for web surfiing, email, basic word processing, and some dabling with the family photo album you don't need much at all to do it.
