I always jump with glasses - I just bought smaller glasses that would fit into decent goggles.................. Fuck contacts.............. FREAKS!! No problems...............

In an interview I saw with Vinaigrette Dicksle about XXX he certainly gave the impression that it was him doing the stunt................... no shame........ I also believe that Tim who did the stunt is from the UK - but I maybe wrong..............

are you sure that you are coming in on full drive and have you checked out the length of your lower control lines? How about picking up some forward speed using the front risers then using this forward speed to convert to more lift? F1-11 flare very differently to ZP anyway. Just my 2 dodars worth!!

1) take longer to save up 2) sell things you own 3) get a second job 4) dump your girlfriend and spend all available time working and earning money This IS your life and money should not be an issue for this If you see money as an obstacle just ask yourself how much do you want BASE?? I got myself into debt, sold all my skydiving equipment and spent months without money to go on the FJC - I spent alot of money to get what i wanted. There are always ways around the "money obstacle"....................

Nice work to the Welsh pretend Yank who managed to huck himself off his first UK object and introduce himself to the Lowlands of the UK! That one was for the brothers and sisters lost..... the only issue i think is premature deployment............. that will hurt. with the forces involved with deployment at terminal really make a difference to whether you have double stowed or not?? bag locks are not nice obviously - but can they really be put down to tube stow V rubber band stow? i would be interested to hear if some one has "really" had a bag lock due to the type of band they had used! surely the drag from the PC is giving enough snatch to overcome a tight bungy/tight tube stow??? - maybe your PC was fucking shit??? just my thoughts!?!?!

I do not believe that the type of band you use will prevent a bag lock. the fact is a bag lock is normally caused by a line of one bite passing over another bite. the band is not going to break as the tension is on the lines and not on the band. I have seen stowless DB's and think they are a marvellous idea......... has anyone using this system found any problems with it? and out of curiosity did it in fact increase your on-heading performance?

i think that fjc's are taught to give a student bare minium to keep themselves alive - knowledge of the systems and equipment do not do that in the early stages. if someone is wanting to progress then knowledge about the systems is a must. We all have different levels of the knowledge we wish to know. i know some skydivers who do not know how to attach toggles, PC's, DB's, etc - but that wont kill them - unless they try without asking or jump new kit without it being checked out! - but some people just dont want to be that anal about their kit. Students have enough to deal with without knowing the physics involved in the 3 ring circus! just my 0.0000000000002 1940s deutshmarks -

Nice work! Asking questions like this after your first jump is surely positive. I know of people with circa 100 jumps that dont know how the 3 rings work, how the reserve works, what their knife is actually for........... starting to ask questions at such an early stage is a refreshing change.......... most are so focused on the jump and making it through to the licence and then once that is done having fun and progressing they forget to think about finding as much as possible about the equipment they rely on to save their lives......... Thats my take anyway - but perhaps i am just an equipment freak!! be safe always
