and in my world 486er and fjc is never in doubt!! - its meanings are never confused or questioned!! but i bet to people who dont know about skydiving cypress is in doubt!! - so skylark where exactly DO you draw the line????

Well EXCUSE ME!!! Pointless use hey?? I use FJC in the same way you would use AFF - the people I know know what I mean by FJC - sorry if you dont - but I guess the same is said of non skydivers not knowing what AFF is! - does this make its use "pointless"??? Also 486er was used as I dont want to name an object - So this is not a pointless use!! I hope that is OK with you???

Another UK'er makes the step over the edge! from what I hear from him he is having a riot after his FJC off the 486er and enjoying his new found parachuting activity. Its been a long time coming mate - and out of everyone who said "yeah I wanna do it" you were the only one of the old crew at the DZ who went out and grabbed your dream............ all i can say is well done mate!............ it gets even better now!! Nice! i mean just coz someone whos first language is not English does not make them a "bozo" and if they are English speaking just because they may have a certain opinion does not make them a "bozo" I never moaned about it but was trying to get opinion on the "first timers" and what it meant to them - perhaps i worded it incorrectly........... please refer to my previous posts........ yeah it must be cool meeting with old friends......... but whether it is 2 or 5 seconds my point was about the attitude of the first time jumpers and how they walked away from it......... I never said that - but I feel that for an introduction to BASE it does not cover the aspects of the sport I feel important. I also will wind my neck in as I did not realise that the new jumpers get seminars to "open their eyes"! Again I refer to my first posts, I am not belittling or slating or having a go at people taking the first jumps there (at least you are making the effort) - I was just after peoples opinions of it (sorry to offend certain people!!) be safe always!
