    I searched the forums and couldn't sift through the tons of threads on coach courses, most of them were more specific questions (currency, skydive U vs. USPA). I plan on taking a coach course in May and I was wondering what some coaches or instructors out there reccommend I read/study before taking the course. If you could be specific that would be awesome. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks. .-.

    How about we stop looking inward on ourselves (United States Citizens, NO we are not "Americans") and look at what the Bush Administration has done to other developing nations. For example, the current administration just imposed huge tax breaks for United States businesses that export a certain amount. What do you think this does to other nations? Well for starters, the WTO (World Trade Organization), which we are a member of, has deemed what they did illegal and has allowed the European Union to impose sanctions on the US beginning with $200 million and progressing each month until these tax cuts are done away with. But what about the less developed nations for which imposing sanctions on the US do no good? Well, the tax break allows the businesses in the US to produce products at a much lower cost. This enables them to sell it cheaper than other nations. Sorry to veer slightly off topic. .-.

    hey. as far as im concernedl, the size of the PC affects the opening speed. as long as the force on your pin is the same as all other pins, the size of the pilot chute shouldnt matter. pulling sub-terminal may give you a bit of a hesitation, but no more than any other canopy. ive only got 170 jumps so take that with a grain of salt please. .-.

    you also need to decide whether you want a full face or not. try and find people around your dz that dont mind letting you borrow their helmet for a jump. some helmets can be quite expensive. you want to make sure its what you really want, not just because others have it. for example, i bought my Z1 at 30 jumps because it was reccommended by a lot of ppl at my dz. i never got to try it in freefall until i had it. i now regret spending the $300 on it. (this is not to say that i dont like the helmet, just that the $300 could have been used elsewhere) .-.

    Ok so a whuffo actually put this list togeather. Pretty impressive considering she's only done 1 tandem, I think... Why SKYDIVING is better than SEX ! 1. You can have six skydives a day and still want more. 2. Finding partners for skydiving is much easier - physical attraction is not as important. 3. Skydiving is much safer, no diseases and no kids. 4. Finding good partners is much easier - everyone knows in advance how good a skydiver you are 5. It's socially acceptable to do 4-ways, 8-ways, 16-ways... 6. Everyone involved is usually satisfied or not with a skydive. 7. You can ask skydivers if they've put on weight without offending them. 8. You rarely get told by your partner(s) that they've had enough. 9. Solo skydiving is not embarrassing. 10. Everyone is ugly in freefall. .-.

    i had fun while i was down there for spring break. it was always nice to have fester or slippy in front of me on the full loads. ill be back down there very soon hopefully .-.

    One reason some people don't get a pullout is that if you get go of the PC accidently before it catches here it can fall into dead air behind you and not inflate. .-.
