Ok. So I've read through the Demo Jump section in the SIMs and have some questions. It states that you need a PRO Rating to jump into a stadium. However to jump into an Open Field of Field Level 1, just a C liscense and 200 jumps. Under Field 1 it states that open athletic fields usually fall under this category. My question is...would a small university's football field that only has bleachers about 100 feet high on 2 sides count as a field or stadium? How can I determine it? Is it just by estimation? It definitely falls within the 250,000 square foot minimum. I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks. .-.

Ever done a demo jump into a university/college event?
Hazarrd replied to Hazarrd's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I'm considering asking to do a demo jump into the opening football game at my school next semester (around 6 months away). This post isn't a request for suggestions on evaluating the landing area and other important factors involved in making the decision. What I am looking for is obstacles you had to go through to gain permission to do it. Did the school pay for the jump? Have you tried it before and were you denied? I'm looking for as much info. as I can get. My school is a business school and they are very strict with liability issues. Any ideas? Thanks! .-. -

Have you purchased a Complete Rig online (dz.com classifieds?)
Hazarrd replied to Fireflyer's topic in Gear and Rigging
I bought mine from a guy off ebay. I had him end the auction early and bought everything but the main. So because I did that I didn't have anyway of reporting him if things went wrong. The guy seemed real nice, so I trusted him for the most part. He agreed to sending the rig to my DZ before I sent any money so I could have it inspected and try it on. If I didnt want it, I would pay for the shipping back. It turned out perfect and I sent him the money. Theres no reasons someone shouldnt agree to send the rig to your DZ, assuming the person trusts that the DZ is legit. .-. -
How many data points does the ProTrack aquire per second? Or is it more scarce than each second? I'm guessing people with the JumpTrack software might be able to help me out with this one. Thanks! .-.

So I am capturing some video with Vegas and I cant seem to get the data rate below 3.45MB/second which is entirely way too large. How do I decrease the quality to make the files smaller? I cant seem to find it anywhere. Thanks! .-.

are you getting video of it? if so, look at what you are doing wrong and practice the right way on the ground. its much different doing it in the air but thats really the best thing to do. the other option is to go to a wind tunnel. .-.
