    I have some "small" experience with copyrights. One of the terms of a copyright is that others cannot use it in the same context. For example, Javelin couldn't releast a new RSL or anything like it called the Skyhook. But if Toys R Us wants to come out with a toy called the Skyhook, they can do it. It just needs to be passed through the....I can't remember the org that regulates copyrights right now. Anyways, thats about the extent of my knowledge. The other thing is that getting a copyright isnt easy to do, it's possible that Vector doesn't have the name copyrighted yet. Finally, if another company "infringes" on your copyright, you have to prove it. .-.

    personally, id go for the PD reserve first. nothing to back that up, but thats what i would do...ive read some of the same reviews youve probably read on here about the Raven. not really something i want to think about if im in need of using my reserve. that and the ride i had on my PD was sweet

    not really sure what you are asking, but when i did aff, my DZ had altimeters that were for training. they had a wind up clock sort of thing that allowed the arrow to go down to simulate freefall. it was very helpful. .-.

    We were so close to that 4th point too. Another 500 feet and we would have had it. Don't forget that you were on a completed 22 way and a smokin 13 way where your piece partner was a former GK that day as well. All in all a pretty good day. -OK i just looked at the pics up on Tonys site, that last point was SO close! argh...oh well. the 22 way was cool, i think if we did it again we would turn atleast 2 or 3 of the points. all in all that day rocked. i dont imagine i will have a better day of skydiving for a long time

    ive only jumped there once as an experienced jumper, but I plan on going there more often this summer as I met the owners son in Zhills and hes a pretty cool guy. see you there. .-.

    It's good to hear you are coming to grips with the disease. I've never known anyone with anything even close to that, but I can only imagine the pain. I hope everything works out for the best and glad to hear you are going to continue what you enjoy doing. Keep us updated! Until then... .-.

    if you want a ballpark estimate, its going to be anywhere from $2000 (pre 96 rig most likely) to $4000 (fairly new rig). like they said, you are looking at a lot of options. price also depends on when the cypres is due back for its 4 year/battery replacement as well as how much life is left on it. check out those threads that she mentioned above. good luck. .-.

    isnt this something that is/should be taught at all DZs nowadays? i find it kind of scary that a student wouldnt have learned that during AFF or whatever student profession he or she used... .-.
