    If you find something for 1k (british pound, yes?), then it is likely going to be compromised in some area. No AAD? Old container that will need maintenance work? Canopy needs reline? Reserve due to retire soon? Or a combination of the above.     I was told by eye witness/es that Shannon too about 2.5 sec. Did anyone here see anything different? Also, I got conflicting reports about what happend before/during/after the toss. Trouble finding it? Caught in burble? Bridle wrap? The only thing consistant was that she turned slightly, the pilot chute caught air, started to extract canopy, then impact. I know she had neck surgery and was out for some time. i know whe had a couple of openings the day before that aggrevaeted her injury. I know she packed slider up as a result and decided to take a longer delay. So what happened after her 2.5 second delay? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

    Don't be so quick to assume you won't make a mistake in this sport. Everybody makes small mistakes every day. Most get away with them. Skydiving is not very forgiving. Sometimes you pull it off.     When we were dirt diving the "S" load, a pair of mating dragonflys landed on Qs chin. It was really weird and really funny. I figured it was Shannons sick sense of humor.     Hey Mikey, I'm sorry I didn't read your profile before I responded to your ad. I didn't look to see how many jumps you have. Your questions are all good questions. And if you don't ask, you won't know. Also, if nobody questions my advise, I may not question it myself. Staying fresh and on top of the game is a good thing IMHO. All that said, you may want to consider a rig that can accomodate a 170 and a 150 main. Sort out some trial and errors on the 170. The line set on most 150 parachutes are considerably shorter and more responsive than 170s. So it's not just a question of wing loading at that point. A spectre 170 packs pretty small. A PD160 reserve or similar would be a size to consider. Just my advise. Worth what you paid for it. There are no stupid questions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

    You are right. The lines of the canopy can get messy too since they are over the GFD. However. Patches don't have to be 100% embroidery. They can be a combo of screen printing and embroidery.
