Yep, and since CA has seen fit to move their primary from June to March, I have to get off my duff and read the propositions and such before I leave town in under 2 weeks. I'm registered R, but CA has open primaries, so I can vote for a D candidate.

Well, the same is true about Trump, so maybe it was partly misogyny. However, she wasn't the top of the ticket, and she had no business or other cred really. I couldn't countenance Palin as a fill-in President if McCain died, and I couldn't give support him after the bad judgement in choosing her. We were not aligned on some issues, but I was confident that he would not have harmed the US. The earlier point about McCain minus Palin beating Obama, especially had he picked someone like Kasich, is a likely outcome. McCain would have likely had 8 years, and Kasich would be POTUS now.

I don't totally agree with "none." Certainly Trump was handed a good and growing economy, but his deficit spending did and does provide some stimulus. I don't think that he has much to do with the historically low interest rates, which have created a stock bubble since you can't make money on interest investments. Personally, I'm grateful that the market tripled under Obama. I have about 3.5x what I need in my retirement, assuming that I live until 91 (not likely given family history).

The first illegal that I ever knowingly knew was a Canadian. He had overstayed his work visa . The second one was from what was then called Yugoslavia , who had also overstayed his work visa (a skydiving chum).
