    I'm expecting the number to surpass 200,000 by the end of August. The number of new cases per day is the same now as it was a week ago, two weeks ago, 4 weeks ago. The number of new deaths is the same as a week ago, two weeks ago, and 75% higher than it was 4 weeks ago.

    I looked at my last 7 Amazon orders (older ones no longer show tracking data). All were delivered by USPS.

    With Biden and Trump fairly close, what would be the effect if Mark Cuban decides to run? If Cuban pulls a few votes from the other candidates, would Biden or Trump be most likely get 50% of the electoral college votes? Does that change with Cuban in the race, or are Biden and Trump equally affected? If Cuban pulls enough votes so that nobody gets >50% in the electoral college, it becomes one vote per state delegation. Under that situation, I expect an easy Trump win (unless Cuban has gotten way more votes than I can imagine).

    A lot of the deliveries get last mile service from the USPS, even if they come cross country by other means. Sometimes Prime trucks, sometimes individuals in their beater Honda or whatever. It used to be only around Christmas that the individuals had the gig jobs, but I've seen that more lately, especially during this stay at home situation.

    I spoke to my brother today. He lives in Atlanta. He said tomorrow he can go get a haircut, then a massage, then go to the gym, then get a tattoo. He can't go to bars until next week.

    Odd that he thinks that states cannot impose social distancing rules, but it is okay for states to require certain hallway widths for clinics providing abortions.
