"Any electronic surveillance that was occurring as part of the Terrorist Surveillance Program will now be conducted subject to the approval of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court," Gonzales said. Okay, where's that rubber stamp?

Mine sends them by e-mail, which is also how he sends test results, etc. to me.

What state could we do away with and why?
headoverheels replied to SkydiveStMarys's topic in The Bonfire
Cool, we could stop tax flow subsidies to Texas. -
Next you're going to tell us about the Fat Oprah being arresting for having 220 pound of crack under her dress.

Reading your post, I'm thinking http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html, specifically http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/your.html

It is a common problem with Wings. If you turn the pin so that it curves right instead of left in your picture, there will be less tendency for it to be exposed. I do that, and fold over the bridle line on top of the pin, to make it stay that way. As others mentioned, also make sure that your closing loop is not too loose.

Their "things." Things go better with Coke.

I don't have a problem with it at all, I just think it is too obvious to be funny. Anyway, not as tasteless as the Nicole Brown Simpson Pez dispenser.

Probably more like 2%, after you take out the respondents who answered without looking at the picture, those who would know the answer but read the question wrong, and the deliberate wrong answers by people who don't like your avatar.

Home Depot failing....so CEO resigns with $210 million severance
headoverheels replied to Andy9o8's topic in Speakers Corner
Didn't need to, already knew. He actually did a lot for HD, brought their IT systems up to date, etc. I just can't believe that such people are so rare as to justify such a contract. I have spent easily 100 times as much time at HD as I have ever watching professional sports. -
Just to add -- same goes for all those little mesh stickers and similar devices that claim to "reduce or eliminate harmful radiation". I guess most people finally realized what crap that is, so these things became almost extinct now. It was amazing how many ads for them I saw just a couple of years ago... Yep. Everyone finally figured out to just wear their tinfoil hats.

It seems perfectly in line with what some folks get for running around on a baseball field, maybe even too cheap. -
What colors did you choose for your canopy & why?
headoverheels replied to mattyblast's topic in Gear and Rigging
Visibility was a major consideration when I got may last canopies. I was doing a 180 to final one day, and did not immediately see a friend below with a low-vis canopy. Another time, someone had a lot of difficulty finding a chopped main (black and dark blue) when searching from the air. I want to be seen, and to be able to find a wayward main if necessary. -
When I got my older Javelin, the main flap was too long. No way it would stay closed. I sent it back. Derek called and said that he didn't see any problem. I told him to take 5/8" off (I hadn't really measured, so I didn't want to say to take more) and send it back. The flap was still slightly long, but pretty much okay. They didn't even bother to cut back the under flap, so I always had to fold it's edge under. Delivery was late. (IIRC, about 13 weeks late). The design of the riser covers was such that the stiffeners took a bend, then wouldn't stay in very well. This was somewhat attributed to reserve packing -- a good pack job wouldn't do, it had to be very good. A better design doesn't have the problem. That said, I have no other complaints with the function or durability of the rig. I put about 1250 jumps on it, and sold it in good shape. I just think that there are better alternatives.

I got mine yesterday, on the way home from Tahoe. I named him Popeye For some reason, my GF wanted to take her vehicle through a car wash before going to work.

To shorten the brakes, without unstitching, you can just pass the line around the toggle and back through the hole/grommet again, multiple times, before passing the toggle through the loop on the end of the brake line. If this is not obvious (and looking correct), get a rigger to take a look.

My father beat me, my mother abandoned me, and my uncle molested me

They have. If you rent three of them, it will be Ho, Ho, Ho. -
That's why he's working at Jiffy Lube. Rotating tires is about the limit I would trust them with, and only if I saw them hand torque the nuts -- certainly not changing oil.

You're always quick to blame the citizens for the actions of politicians. But the fact is, the voters can seldom predict what the politicians intend to do in the future. So, unless those school board members specifically ran for office on a platform of this issue, then those voters aren't really responsibile for these actions. The proceedings spanned enough elections to vote them out.

Haven't had a chance to jump it yet. I've lengthened the brake lines on just about every canopy I've jumped so that's why I was curious about this but we'll see. I haven't had hma before either so maybe my lenthening the lines was because they were just shrinking My Katana should be on the way with new HMA 650, and I'm sure that I will be unstitching or replacing the lower control lines, if they tacked them down. The marked position on the original set (not HMA) did not leave enough slack for front riser turns, and the Katana really bucked if the tail was also pulled down. Were the lines you got round or oval?

It would have to be "Merry Fucking Christmas" from SouthPark.

Only 5 minutes to talk about skydiving?!?
headoverheels replied to noblesmelissa's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Something to which everyone can relate, like farting in the airplane. -
In 7th grade, I sat in front, and a girl (Katie Ford, where are you now?) sat beside me. Katie would audibly break wind, and the teacher would always look up at me.

So...who has time to "acquire a taste" for something??
headoverheels replied to SkydiveStMarys's topic in The Bonfire
Beer was an aquired taste, and it was worth every minute, and every brain and liver cell.
