I'm not going to tell you my reply. But it REALLY would depend on the woman that we are talking about in this situation. Some women, who even seem clean, don't deserve oral EVER. And some do. Some give great BJ's and some NEVER do. Some woman are strikingly sexual and open to things, and some aren't. It really depends on the girl.

It isn't charity until George, himself, donates the money. Step 1) Sell tickets for an event and make some money off of it; with luck, the majority of the money will be $CASH$ Step 2) Deposit money into bank into one account 1. Step 3) Donate money from account 2. Step 4) Write off the amount in taxes from your annual income elsewhere. Dude, this is SOP for the upper class capitalists.

Back in the day, I actually jumped an uncocked pilot chute about 4-times in a row due to ignorance of my gear. Yikes. We are all just glad that you are here and posting on the forums too. It's great to see that your spirits are UP - at least, they seem that way. If anyone can pull of getting back in the air quickly, it is you. You-da-man!!! Be glad that nobody is going to nickname you; the name "Collapsible Dave" still travels around the east coast quite a bit

I guess that I am the NO-TALENT ASS BAG - Michael Bolton here. "I guess I kinda like them all."

I speed going everywhere and doing everything; the DZ is no exception to this.

You have a good point. Let the old man take the plunge. I'm outta here.
-
uhm....yeaaaah. But I'm only going by the sweet write-off's of my own this year. What's your point?

Gotta agree with Steve on the Mirage. It's tight, secure, and a really solid build! And, no, I am not sponsored by them but I do own one.
-
True..true. Yeah, I gotta agree. It's almost like G.L. did a poll on 'What people like the most' and started catering to it. We all know that the storyline is set and what the outcome of the characters are going to be. They just screwed up presentation. Although, there are a lot of great things about EPI and EPII - but at the same time, there are an equal amount of bad things. When I close my eyes and think about EPII, I see a cartoon like thriller designed for 6 year olds. That is kindof annoying, because even when I was 6 (when Star Wars was released) I didn't see it that way. Heck - we all new the outcome of Lord of the Rings too, and that didn't stop them from sweeping the awards this year.

bwaaaahahahahahahaha!

Ok, yeah, I definitely fit into the category of being a Star Wars fan. And I am proud to admit this. But common, let's face it, George has gotta get on the ball if he is going to pull off the prequel trilogy with pride. I know there is something wrong with the last movie because I didn't run out to the store and purchase a copy of it. In fact, I saw it only once when it came out in the theatre. Funny you should mention this though. I was in B&N today checking out the Star Wars magazine with previews of the clones from the next flick. Looks like they are heading to London for some final film work in April. Most of the preliminary filming was completed early this year.

There is nothing perfect about that womans boobies. Besides that, she's taken by 'Thing'. (The hand at the bottom of the pic.)

The request fro upper management to count the seconds between a persons desk and every machine in the datacenter seems weird. Perhaps if I could just make sense of this????? I'm really just interested if the signs seem similar to people who have gone through it. There should be some consistency in them. My preparation for lay-offs began two years ago when starting a side business. This job has gone from a primary source of income to the icing on the cake kinda thing. Truth is, a layoff would simply be a kick in the ass - allowing me to spend more time growing the other gig.

Have your relatives come to see you skydive?
Vertifly replied to Vertifly's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Whoooooooah. This is a factor that you do not want to be contemplating during an issue. That is kinda funny though. -
(Data Center = Remote from company) + (Boss = Non-political Paranoid Sociopath) = No news till too late.

I work in a computer room - building and installing computer networks for a private finacial info company. Yeah, it's a nice gig, but something fishy is going on in my company. Many changes continue to take place and it seems like we may be heading down the road of "LAY OFFS". ...So, I thought that I would ask about DZ.COM members' experiences or opinions on the matter. I'll tell yah, this has been THE best company that I have ever worked for - aside from the Office Space type atmosphere. Free food, training on whatever technology that comes around (and they used to put us up in the best hotels in Manhattan for the training), company parties and picnics in top locations in NYC, straight 8-hour days/40-hour weeks, we've haven't ever been 'overwhelmed with work' until recently, and they even paid for one of my degrees. Since the owner became a silent partner (just after 9/11) many changes have taken place. Over the past 2 1/2 - 3 years, like many companies, we've changed many things. However, we've NEVER fired anyone - unless they really deserved it. Getting training lately is like pulling teeth, our days are overloaded with work and we tend to put in much more overtime. Company parties are OVER, we've downgraded our health insurance comanies, and raises and bonuses are taking a dip for most people. Some employees tend to think that we may be going public, but I find that unlikely (having talked to the owner about it once). The corporation has survived the rough economy well in comparison to most...until now at least. And now there are some strange requests going on. Today, for instance, my boss (the VP basically) has asked R&D to count the amount of time that it takes to walk from their desks to each machine in the computer room - that is for about 800 machines in the datacenter. The difference between the closest location and the far location differes from 7-seconds to about 40-seconds. What the heck kinda request is this? It seems baseless (even useless) to me. Has anyone else seen some strange activity like this before a lay-off? Things like this is precisely why I decided to start a business outside. It's too scary now-a-days. But, any insight or shared experiences would be great.

We did this at a local DZ (not saying which one) last year!!! Yeah... hmmm....Guess I can't really put anyone's name on here either. But I will say that the initals of the person doing the canopy flying is the same as the DZ. If you are familiar with things, you may figure it out. Anyway, it worked for the most part. He was towed, via pickup truck, around the landing area during a cloudy day. No worries, it worked. We had a doctor nearbye (mostly for moral support) and a high ranking member of the USPA simply shaking his head back-and-forth throughout the process. The act could have gotten ugly but we decided to use a SEMI elliptical instead of a FULL one. When they were all getting things setup, I was totally against it. I mean, seriously, this could have been ugly. Our canopy pilot seemed to have a very hard time steering himself around. I thought sure he was going to hook or do something stupid. Although, looking back on it IS kinda funny.

Yeah, your probably right, at least he wasn't allowing any interns to blow him. I rarely do hold back. I was in the military under GW-I. Most marines seemed to like the guy, but I personally think that (once again) there were more hidden agenda's than the general public is not aware of (and should be). Not only that - we continue to pay for these agenda's today. Do you think that oil is worth the lives that we spend? Gimme a break man. There are plenty of arguements either way. http://hiddenwars.com/ Take a look at this flik and get back to me. I'm not bitter about it, but dude, lets face some facts. Instead - Lets all get together, pay 80-bucks to go watch former president Bush skydive, have the money go to a charity (hopefully it isn't charity that the government should be funding in the first place), and watch him write of the charity at the end of the year during tax season. Dude, gimme a break, we could go back and forth all day. In the end, he's just an old man that stills brings some attention and calls himself the philanthropist/republican. LOL

Can you believe it? Slowly approaching 2G's in jumps and not a cutaway yet. Think the odds are in my favor? Yikes!!!
-
Seriously dude... Now you are just acting like a child. Time to get rid of a few of those inner demons, don't you think? Skydiving is a small community bro. The word on attitudes (particularly in conflicting situations) travels faster, in this sport, than a student learning head-down. A spiteful move like that isn't the kind of move that you want to make - especially on the internet. Cheer up and move on!
-
Just kinda putts around with it until about 150 jumps. Then I bumped into Swanson - who cleaned things up for me in coaching.

Dude, maybe you need to get another job or go into business for yourself. ?? Is it "cookie dough ice cream" or just plain "cookie dough"? Because, quite frankly, I think that selling cookie dough is a pretty bizzarre thing to sell on its own. Don't you? If someone told me that they were selling cookie dough, my response would be either, "Why the F*^k would I want to 'BUY' cookie dough?" or "What's cookie dough?" ...because I wouldn't believe my F*^k'n ears. Besides that... What kind of place sells PIZZA and some form of COOKIE DOUGH (ice cream or not)? It is inconsistant enough to baffle the average retail buying citizen. Retail work empirically just sucks ass unless you are a VERY customer friendly person. Sounds like someone just needs a .

It has to go in the middle. The kind of lens that I own doesn't have threads on the outside. It sucks, but the lens is very good.

Glad that I am not the AFF jumpmaster doing the instruction work for him. I heard that the last jump he did was a disaster! Why not, this guy has had a chauffeur since he was 3-years old and probably never wiped his own ass either. Now, at the age of 80, we are expecting him to save his own life by pulling! Once a jackass, always a jackass.

It's a 58mm I think. Could you explain, more clearly, how you bungee'd it? Or perhaps take a pic and post it? Thanks, I would try this if I could envision how you did it. It is amazing how much different my footage looks with (and without) the P-filter on. All of my Peurto Rico footage is CLEAR, CRISP, and VERY COLORFUL - this is when I had the filter on, but the camera shake is a little bit annoying when you look at the video. While filming in Skydive Sobe, I thought the sky was LESS HAZY than PR and the movies do not come out nearly as good. It also makes a HUGE difference with a 3-chip. because the clarity on this camera is SO good, I do not want to compromise its potential by not using the best tools. This is definitely going to require a fix.
