If you're still a hottie and you still know it....

Gotta agree. I like looking at her. She is, like, looking at herself, which makes me want to do it too - or something. -

If Trent docks on my balls and massages them I will give him the benefit of the doubt. -

Wow!! 60 tapes! You must have a lot of jumps! Ok dude, you just go ahead and dock a two way, head on, right on top of them, in a track. Get a pick about 1/2 second before you collapse right into the base, and post it up here like it never happened. 45 degrees above a track leader is about from his chest down at that range (about 2 feet). Go right ahead and approach that...but make sure you are wearing a helmet with a face mask. -

You are trying to put words in my mouth. Go through the dialogue here. I never said "no one docks on flocking dives", I am saying that it isn't common practice. The point of a flock is not to build a linked formation...never really has been. Unless you want to start the phenomenon yourself - it's a good idea actually. No one is building medium to big way links in a flock dude....it just hasn't really happened yet. And I also never said linked formations were only possible at a 45 degree angle. Those words were never mentioned. Why do you want to put words in my mouth? Seems to me a defensive move on your part and not mine. But anyway, the direction of atmonauti is headed that way...if it isn't already there. I believe there are people getting gold medals with this in europe. It may be taking a while to cross the big water there. I don't speak for the discipline, I just think it is cool. Much more fun than tracking and much more dynamic than a flock, and more challenging in my opinion. It is more difficult and precise I think. You are dude...just pick a position and stick with it. Otherwise you are going to look like a poge. hahahahahaah!!!!! -
Weekday Jumping: X-keys v The Ranch
Vertifly replied to Mostly_Harmless's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Good for you dude, go with it. Have at it. Do what you gotta do. At 30 jumps stories flew around - that is in 97, at 100 jumps I was warned about it (but was also warned about the winds at Crosskeys - a strange untruth as well) ...at 1000 jumps I was warned about it again...and still hear stories about what it was like. I have no idea what goes on now. But the running word in Jersey, for a while, was to watch your ass up there. I got nothing more than that. It's probably a great place with a lot of good times, fun jumps, excellent memories, but with the rest...i rest. I am not stating fact here because I don't have any. Only have about 20 jumps there...if I have 10. I can't tell you about all the stories I have heard, where they come from, why people say them. I'm just passin on that the place has a rep....a less than positive rep from my perspective. Quite frankly, even as a very experience jumper - it friggin freaks me out. I can take care of myself now, it is the low timers who are unaware who should be concerned. Dude....I'm leaving this thread because it has gotten way outta control. But this is were I stand and no one in here will change my mind.... Because all the people who are posting great things about the place seem to jump there on a normal basis. I swear no allegiance to any DZ but have a partialness to particular ones. Use your best judgement man. Just be safe and keep on jumping. -

You're welcome. Ok, docking in flocking is a normal occurance. I've been jumping in the same arena as you and this is not a common practice. Explain to me the ability to move around in a track as much as on a 45 degree. That is why I said I've seen tracking in a competition. But it hasn't been that impactful. Impressive but not quite as dynamic. Exactly, but now you seem to be changing your perspective. ??? -
T-shirts, wikipedia's, dictionary terms, how everyone else seems to see it....how do YOU view it? So far, the running majority see it as a hobbie. How to treat something that could kill you as a hobbie. Fail to comprehend it but ok. Guess its the beer, late night dz stuff, i don't know. If this was a more of a hobbie I'd probably quit.
