  1. PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME A classic but still the best thing going!
  2. Despicable. Best recipe for fresh whipped cream. (2) Cup of Heavy Whipping Cream (2) 1 tsp of granulated sugar (3) 1/2 tsp of pure vanilla extract Use a Kitchen Aid with a wire whip. Whip to stiff peaks (it takes about 5 or more minutes on level 5). You can do it with a regular hand mixer but it takes a lot longer and doesn't come out as good.
  3. I finally looked more intently at dz.com. Does this mean that you are just as assuming in real life or more?
  4. is the brown stain a standard or option on theeeezzzeee.... fuckin nasty man
  5. dude...exactly why i said... point being...i see little need to chop that low (you say dangerous below 200ft i say up to about 400ft maybe more) unless you know the risk is friggin huge. if there is such a thing as a hard deck, then that should be it. below that, for me, it would have to be to not consider ANY other options but to chop and pray.
  6. regardless, if you chop below 300ft (maybe even higher)...skyhook or not...big reserve or small...high wing load or not...you are talking to mr.reaper.
  7. wonder what that is supposed to mean. ??
  8. Don't know what you are blowing out of your nose, but mine all goes down the drain.
  9. Two points... (1) why is it dangerous for the poster to state that his opening seemed like 50ft? if anyone....NO. If ANY skydiver chops at 100ft, then they shouldn't be skydiving to begin with. If you've made it that low...with a problem that will cause you to cutaway...then, it is my opinion that you deserve to be rolling the dice anyway. Because you've already taken fate and left it to chance by waiting too long. and (2), Go here and click the [View Skyhook] button. THIS video shows about a 20ft opening with the slider down. About 3/4 of the way through the video if you don't want to watch the whole thing, just let it load and fast-forward through. So I guess maybe you all are arguing over how long it takes your slider to make it down. ???
  10. Sorry, but that is a strange perspective. It goes right down the drain.
  11. So everyone has to be absolutely correct about the distance so that you can tell the truth to your customers. Why don't you just word it so that you aren't lying to your customers rather than relying on the second hand information? I don't think that this post was meant to be a lie or an exageration. It sounds like the dude was just impressed by it.
  12. so what....do you think you could beat the system to a fully opened reserve? 50ft....100ft...200ft...400ft. can you beat it or are you just trying to be technically correct? ???
  13. anyone know if this is a pst event or a local fun gig? qualifying rounds? fun jumping? what is the dealio?
  14. Sorry ladies but I had to vote for you... It was Weegegirl doing Rkymtnhigh. You are the only "two" girls I could even vaguely get a visual on from memory of your avatars. We are a visual breed aren't we?
  15. ...it's that for every 100 gb of data floating around the internet, there are actually 1 or 2 kb's that fucking make a difference in the world. And no, this post doesn't help at all.
  16. Have you ever tried to remove dried glue from cellophane wrap? Or taken a set of plyers to pull your fingernails from their sockets? What you mentioned doing kinda falls somewhere between the two of these!!!!
  17. If you ever can get your hands on a 'baby-kiwi' ...they are incredibly good. At first I thought it was a small fig or something because it has no hair like a kiwi and you are supposed to eat the skin like a fig. It is much sweeter than a normal kiwi also. But the funny thing is that it isn't a different breed of kiwi or anything...it is just picked more early in the season. yumbo!!!!!!!
  18. You call this coping? You are asking a bunch of people who jump out of planes for pleasure. Hahahah!!!!! Sike, really... Just take a long hard look at tomorrow and think to yourself what you want to change about it.
  19. Do you know if the newer editions are available on different rig types?
  20. Rather than reading the debates that have gone on about the skyhook, I was hoping to get some direct feedback from people with experience with a skyhook. Maybe you've already used one in action, or have a friend who has had an experience with which you are very familiar with, or perhaps you've done some serious research and decided against the system. Whatever...it is probably a good idea to get a running, individual, consensus on the Skyhook system before actually purchasing. Blues.
  21. Prices were $16 when I started jumping. No way it would make any sense that the price of jumps, now being $22, is being properly subsidized. But fuel more than effects the cost of a load...it directly effects cost of living too. I would hope this increase in the past years has a lot more to do with keeping the businesses going rather than taking advantage. But 5 bucks more per person is a shitload of difference. And tandems are roughly the same cost, ironically (if not cheaper). WTF?
  22. what the hell...old school but you may like them...hahaha!!! 1st one at the Ranch 1998. 2nd from the old Freefly Matrix webpage... 3rd ...look, it used to be the style.
  23. Have you been listening to the dialogue of this thread dude. Who cares...it is fun and it appears like that is what is being passed on in the article in the latest issues. Can you show me where anyone relies on the idea of 'inventing' anything as a commodity to get them somewhere? It sounds like they are trying to help others learn it. It is possible that they're also trying to get the word out that they've explored the angle much more than conventional flyers and that spreading the concepts is the goal. Please, if you have a quote and a representation of context that displays what you are talking about, I'd like to read it....where is it?
