  1. Nah, too many TFRs "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  2. Its unlikely, but there may even be an element of 'well done for winning, don't agree with you, but well done'. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  3. More like political reality. What they going to say, shit George, really wish Kerry had won? They may not like him or his policies but they know they have to work with him for the next 4 more years. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  4. Nope! Macs are NOT immune, there are just a LOT less agressive software written for them since they represent such a small percentage of the overall computer market. This thread is funny, all of this information has been talked about more then once, more then twice, quite a few times. I'm amazed when people are too lazy to search, even when its obviously a topic that's been talked about adnausim. Dave, I also hate lazy people. You know the kind of people who don't even read the posts above them. See mine. Lol "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  5. Nope. Macs are immune. I wouldn't say immune, just Macs have a smaller share of the market, therefore its more efficent for the wankers who write malware to target Windows. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  6. I've looked into this before and it seems that most places you go if you bring kit from your own country(where it had its last repack) their repack rules apply, not the country you want to jump in. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  7. Couple of teaspoons of honey, pinch of cinnamon and mace, lots of lemon and topped up with hot water. Add a little whiskey. Oh, and a BJ. Always makes me feel better "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  8. Aerokart will probably lose a lots of business. I've heard very bad things about the flow in their tunnel. Skyventure seem to have this sorted. Also, as you say, their prices are ridiculous as they offer it mainly as a fun 'theme' park ride. Also looking forward to the other UK tunnel, with a 16ft diameter its going to kick ass. 9. Sweet story. I hope to jump an 'older' main at some point. I know lots of people look back and say the kit was 'dangerous' but I'd rather snap an ankle than cream in under a ram air. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  10. Welcome trre_squirrel. Have fun/be safe. Skymama - I think tree_squirrel might be a 'chick' though. Interests: Yoga, design, art, drawing, most definately skydiving, boys, sleep, happyness, beer and making necklaces. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  11. I know jack about rigging, but wouldn't deployment cause the risers to break? Even if D'Bagged? Repeat, I know jack about rigging. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  12. Try this http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_download.asp?fid=23295&fileidx=1 Should do the job. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  13. What format is it in? "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  14. Here's my effort. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  15. Probably one of the lucky ones not being abused by the owners "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  16. Never really met other peeps from the site due to geographic distance. OK, Quade had to watch me eat breakfast once (how was your french toast Paul?) and Diablopilot and me said hi once (although he didn't know who I was). Probably had something to do being a newb and they were busy, also I tend to lurk in real life as well as here. Maybe if I get over to the UK mainland or back to the US I'll try better. 17. Also, Footie scores at Reading will never be the same again. I'm listening to Teenage Kicks on repeat for the next 24 hrs. My father was actually the one who told me about his death, he also appreciated his talents as a TV presenter and Radio 4 regular. Sad, sad day. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  18. John Peel (British Radio DJ) passed today. He was a total legend, still playing some of the most progressive music n British radio whilst in his mid 60s. He was with the only DJ to be there from the start of BBC Radio 1 until his death. Dance, rock, indie, rap, whatever, if it was good you probably heard it on his show first. He also was a good bloke. Thanks John, many good memories listening to the show. Thoughts to the 'Pig' and your kids. You'll be missed and remembered. "This isn't an iron lung, people. 19. Quote Customs at Atlanta, I always have problems at that airport /reply] With you on that one. I've flown into Atlanta, Orlando, LAX and Cincinatti (sp?) on trips across the pond. Got serious grief at Atlanta, at all the others the Customs/TSA/Security type people were welcoming and friendly and some even apologised about the queues and thanked all for the patience. There is a big difference between being asked "What is the purpose of your visit? How much money do you have on you? When will you be leaving?" and "Welcome to America, I hope you enjoy your stay, when do you have to leave? Have a good time." "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  20. Nice set of bugger grips you got there "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  21. 63m45s =75 jumps, about 10 clear and pulls. Only 1 above 16,000. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  22. Yeah its all cool. I had a cup of XTREME tea for XTREME breakfast, had an XTREME day at work, (couple of XTREME problems I worked through though). Then had an XTREME pee and had an XTREME visit from my mum( not eXTREMEly related). For dinner (obviously XTREME): If anyone wants to join me I'll be having XTREME dreams later. After killing XTREME kittens. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  23. There is also the manual option of searching registry etc for entries you don't recognise and googling. Sometimes though you have so much crap a fdisk, reformat and reinstall (if you can recover customer data or its not that important) is quicker and cheaper. However you can usually tell which way you need to go after a little investigation. I used to have a sneaking respect for virus writers, but what with all the viruses, trojans, diallers and hijackers I'm not sure anymore. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  24. I use a combination of Hijackthis, spybot search and destroy and spywareblaster. Seems to catch 99% of shit on mine and my customers PCs. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
  25. I'm not waiting to downsize, dont feel the need, Im sure with the way I fly/land my CCI/DZO would OK a smaller canopy, the Wings on order will hold a 200 max. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
