Have to say I'm not sure what I weigh (haven't stepped on scales since I was 16, 11 years ago). However I'm 5' 11" and 3/4 (if only I had drunk more of that free school milk!), broad shouldered with a leetle belly (in the past I was in training for all the beer I'd have to buy), does that help?
As for how did I get hurt on that canopy, well I did not do what Darbs (my instructor) told me to do and paid the price. Also wet sand is not very forgiving.
The worst thing about getting injured was that from my hospital bed I had a clear view of the DZ and watching my friends jump was like having a cast on wit an itch you could not reach, even with that long knitting needle.
Even worse than that was the last week I have spent at home, watching the DZ again (hey, Jersey is small) and seeing my mates jump again, only this time from heli's, there were yak stunt planes I believe etc. I couldn't bring myself to actually go to the DZ - tooo depressing as I could not continue AFF.
