How did you pay ? Where did you send the funds to ? If it was a check, plesae give an address. If it was Western Union/MoneyGram please give any pretinent info. I don't think anybody is going to mind this "personal" info in a public forum. Any chance you have a phone number for this person ?

Whie it may be worth that much in someones mind, if you have $750 to spend on container, you can find a nicer (as in newer) one if you wait just a little bit. Lots of improvements have happened within the last 11 years - $750 is a hefty sum to spend on a decade old technology, not to mention that it probably has at least a few jumps on it. just an opinion....
-
do what BASE jumpers do - pack the PC inside the main. One will have to be an absolute MORON to try to jump it. This way it's packed for transport, not for deployement.

Software for archiving browsing and editing still photos

I am not sure what kind of complexity you need, but I manage about 30GB of photos using PICASA from Google. I like it alot. -
If the weather is decent to jump a B, you can just roll it over and not worry about packing and getting all the crap into your fabric...

Very unintentional indeed. Unless the photographer really did not intend to press the shutter button ...

If you use the search function here and on Blinc, you will see numerous posts referring to early BASE jumpers using rounds. Even the #1 on the list is a round jump. In short if you know what the fuck you are doing, and the landing area is big, and the canopy is big enough (or you are small enough) - I don't see a problem doing it. I would consider it more a stunt than a regular run of the mill BASE jump. People were jumping rounds for decades, and landing them on dry land, no reason it cant be done now :)
-
Both Apex and Asylum (CR) have BASE specific rounds. I believe 19ft But for 50 bucks you can score yourself a Phantom 24' with pH test done and kevlar reinforcement. your call :) P.S. Apex calls their H2O and Asylum calls theirs Tektite

your thoughts and opinions are appreciated. Please don't even start with my jump numbers. They are absolutely not an indicator of my knowledge of using a sewing machine or textile workmanship. Neither is lack of display of rigger rating on the profile. What if my mother is a seamstress ??? (she isn't, but you are automatically assuming that I dont know jack). I have seen/touched/inspected quite alot of suits by Tony/DaKine/FF and some homemade ones - and in my OPINION the Parachi suit that I bought cannot be compared to them. P.S. No, by "quite alot" I don't mean 3 pcs, I mean 20+. So remember - assumption is a mother of all fuckups. A question was asked, and so far I am the only person who answered it. The last few people just bitched me out for stating my opnion. Opinions are like assholes - we all have one, and they all stink. So once again, please refrain from posting if you have nothing constructive to add to the conversation. Why do you think this place is referred to as "dorkzone" by some - cuz people become keyboard Rambos and offshots of the name.

i gave a 100% correct reply to a an answer. I bought a suit on eBay. I felt it was a POS. I also described why. My workmanship on a jumpsuit has nothing to do with what a person who is in business of making them does. I don't make em, and I don't sell em - they do, and I was not happy with the product that I received. If you don't like my experience, then don't learn from it, but certainly don't shut me up - if anythin - you added nothing constructive to the conversation. Thanks for trolling, have a good day.

You are just too rad. He who goes hard, doesn't usually go too long.

Those hips aren't bad, I agree. It's the hair.... And the whole arm flapping thing..

And this one is called "The view from the exit point" If anybody has a clue, please don't make public guesses of the city.

just another cool pic. Check out the ugliness of the lines

Taking money and not delivering a product and not issuing a refund constitutes fraud. Somebody please correct me. Frankly with all the problems people are having, and assuming they are doing chargebacks with their issuing banks, I am quite surprised that Royals credit card processor has not shut his service down yet. So, how many of you HAVE CHARGED BACK - as in called your CC and disputed the charges ?
-
don't you mean by rubbing your back against something until the packjob falls out and inflates on it's own ? It's less work after all.

There are 4 jumpable bridges within about 30 miles of here. They range from a nice beginner bridge (the one everyone jumps) to a sort of intermediate bridge (the one that starts with H), to a fairly technical one (GF) to a super insane, once in a lifetime, one (MG). Has MG ever been jumped ? Or any other "possibles" in the vicinity ? It looked sketchy as hell when I checked it out.

Cincy crew rocks. And they also have the claim to have 2 of the youngest BASE-jumping redheads. Try beating that !

About the only useful thing I can tell you that while people have side mounted the TRV33/22/19, it feels real funky and sticks out alot - I PERSONALLY would recommend top mounting. As far as which helmet - that's up to your comfort and price range.

My experience is with a single suit that I bought on eBay from the company themselves. It's a cheap piece of junk. The workmanship is poor. The stitching looks like a 5 year old did it. And their suit for average built male seems to take into account a HUGE beer belly. Basically myself at 177cm 82kg would have to get a HUGE beer gut to make the suit fit. Basically I was so dissapointed that I just stored the suit as I cannot justify selling that POS to anybody, not even for $20 hope this helps...

quite a few As have that sign. Just don't hang in front of the transmitters, and as usual - if in doubt - send the newbie

Would you be so kind to qoute it? Or just go and check the Cobalt order form from Atair. Solo and Pilot might share the airfoil, but they are not the same canopy. If you are asking for proof on Cobalt vs. Space , then I assume a post from Dan @ Atair should take your doubts away: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=192885#192885 In there he outlines the 2 differences between the Space and Cobalt. As far as the size - perhaps they are not advertising/manufacturing a 170sq ft now, but they definately were.
-
Notice that the biggest Cobalt is 150 in production. Your Space might have the same airfoil. Man you are annoying. Really. REALLY. if you want to trade links, then here's one from Square1 specifying 170 size: http://www.square1.com/manufacturers/square1/p1133.asp and FAQ from Atair specifying a 170 size http://www.atairaerodynamics.com/FAQ.html The Space IS A COBALT made by Atair FOR SkyDepot. There are threads on this very website stating what the difference are.
-
Space - by SkyDepot - which is just another Atair Cobalt (i believe with one minor difference). But definately hear all the PISA/Aerodyne peeps on packing - it's sweet. PD reserve
