since we are already talking about possible complications arising from stunts like these ones, i'd like to remind all of us of the following statement, issued on mai 31 in the wake of the ohio tandem incident (see here for further details): it is imperative that tandem instructors and safety personnel examine and review tandem harness fitting and adjustment procedures available from the manufacturers. fitting and adjustment of the harness as seen in the pics and the videos provided and shown off proudly on the linked website is is no fucking way in compliance with the rules from the manufacturer. so the real question is not if but when the jumper in question will get his ass chewed from strong enterprises and his rating will be pulled The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

just to make shure i get you right: by "mix and match of other rings" you mean that the usage of risers from other anufacturers is prohibited? that would - IMHO - be a wise decision. i am pretty shure you know what happened when people installed reverse risers on rigs other than in the original configuration. guess aerodyne wants to prevent similar experiences The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

i'll take a shot at this one: ask either ted strong or bill booth, for those two invented the whole thing would be a truly good read ps: actually there are two or three shows with both of the guys on skydive radio. spares you the trouble to read The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

slightly off topic: with 16 you will hardly be in the sport for 3 years & won't have accumulated 500 jumps and you are not ready for going TI The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

Jumping through clouds
feuergnom replied to lisamariewillbe's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
in this part of the world regulations for jumping through clouds are not as strong as in your country, in some countries there aren't even regulations if you ever get your butt out of the states you might try and search for that perfect circular rainbow that appears just before entering this very thick layer of industrial haze The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666 -

First Cutaway - Help understanding please!
feuergnom replied to Chris-Ottawa's topic in Safety and Training
I'm just wondering why nobody gave you flak for jumping a 150 with31 jumps ..... as for your initial post: it doesn't matter what caused the mal. you made the right decision in the right altitude. congrats on that. and as well -
maybe you find your answers here or here no to be offensive but: searching the forums really helps for most topics have been discussed already

Skyhook licenced for use by other manufacturers?
feuergnom replied to Tonto's topic in Gear and Rigging
For the most part Copying RWS And vice versa, bill isn't the only one with good ideas out there. It's a time honored tradition, copying from others. Every now and then someone comes up with a small detail on their product that somehow magicly appears on their competitors products a short time later. Funny how that happens huh? Mick. remember the time when collapsible sliders came up? well this feature was invented by some riggers "in field" and deemed unsafe by canopy manufacturers. yet soon after the first mods, collapsible sliders were common. and: bill booth isn't the only one with good ideas. it's just that RWS-rigs are widespread The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666 -

with 40 jumps you are going to love every canopy you are going to get your fingers on. and please don't be upset if i tell you that you will not recognise the finer differences between similar canopies for the next 100 jumps other than one might be a bit twitchier than the other as most canopies have a glide-ratio about 2,5:1 there won't be differences in fwd speed unless you put more load on them. so i have absolutely no idea how anyone could come up with a statement like that as mentioned before: pilots are great beginner canopies. if i had to buy a new canopy, it'd be a pilot The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle dudeist skydiver # 666

Bend Over for AIDS: France Airline Passengers Get the Shaft

MAJOR BULLSHIT! africa has suffered first from eurpean rule, when they finally got rid of us, international companies took over. big oil and big mining of every kind is still trying to squeeze everything out of this continent. don't believe me? do some research, then come back. btw: i wish you a pleasant life without ever getting sick and desperately calling out for help. ps: i take it you are american. if you feel so mistreated why don't you get a lawyer and sue france?
