i completely agree with you regarding boycott, we are inherently lazy, and fast food is a cure for not cooking our own food. anyway, i was just informing the wanabee protesters of who is in control of pizza hut. i still love what teh delivery guy did....its about time. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

well i dont know about long term...but, for your first few days the holiday inn gives a skydivers rate, $50/night, real nice hotel, about 1/4 mile away. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

i actually did a promotional campaign for pizza hut, big traveling truck...and we set up in some crazy areas, like the hood in phily, PA. sure it was probably in the contract not to pack...but do you think i really put a contract in front of my life. good job pizza hut guy! i'll see you at papa john's! btw..TriCon owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC...so if you are going to boycott... ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

hey boxingrl, which sony repair center did you send it to? there is one in san dieog, but if you got all that service, i wouldnt mind sending it to the same one. it seems that the only now malfuction in the zoom button. thanks! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

well, been a couple of days...camera operates in camera mode, and vcr, but the wide to telephoto is still stuck on telephoto. tried the reset button, thanks, but no help, bummer. gonna give it a few more days to air out, then off to sony repair. thanks for the $300 repair idea. i was still going to buy another camera, for my wife who jumps with me....looking for a PC105...any good sources? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

hey thanks, i am feeling better already. have you guys purchased from these guys before? but i dont mind paying a little extra to go straight to a major chain store. do you guys know where i can get one of these 105s...ie...best buy, compusa? or other. i got my pc9 at Fry's...hate that place. i see that circuit city sells the PC 109 for $854. didnt see the pc105 there. is the 109 better? camera primarly used for skydiving. thanks! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

yeah, i did turn it on...well, it is off now, opened and airing out, we shall see. being a person who normally quickly moves on... what new camera should i get...i love the PC9, but i didnt see it anymore on the sony site. what new model is its repalcement? something for under a grand would be nice, and a unit that would fit the same wide angle lenses, and maybe fit in my helmet box? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

So i finally did it....got my Sony PC9 pretty wet. It seems to have problems, wide too telephoto not working, turning on when switch is in off position, crazy software stuff. I got the camera open on its own, and am letting it air out. I suspect I will have to send it in to be repaired...any suggestions, past experiences, ideas? this is reply to all here... IMHO, fuel prices have not kept up with other items when it comes to inflation. we just got used to the prices. and, if you dont like to spend that much of your income on fuel, go make more money. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
