you not alone...you just have to master the state of relaxation...live for the moment...be there now...not the past, not the future...now. when i first nailed my "sit" in freefly, it was a solo, and i was just there...by myself, in the moment. after all, you are falling towards earth very fast, with just a bunch of string and nylon attached to your back...does work, or your bad day, really matter at this time? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

Have you guys read the TSA nightmare in July's parachutist??
squirrel replied to kevin922's topic in The Bonfire
you all need to settle down...i have flown over 30 times, on different airlines, wearing my rig on my back...been questioned a few times...i just ask for a supervisor. i have a copy of the article stating that the cypress is not dangerous, the litte card it comes with showing the xray, and a calm voice. never a problem. just put you attituded aside, and explain technically that it is a sporting parachute rig. never, ever would i check it though...thats like checking your life. i find that most people that have problems, bring it on themselvs. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -

i 100% agree bill... i knew roger and it pissed me off too. jenni (my wife i married in Deland, saw you there) have our own rule. we never land where swoopers are headed. in fact, we are in better shape now after walking a bit farther back to the hanger after landing out in a clear area. see, we area increasing our leg muscles as we increase our odds of survival...hmm, now if i only could get a infomercial made... ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

A Dogs bill of Rights I have the right to give and recieve unconditional love. I have the right to a life beyond mere survival. I have the right to be trained so I do not become the prisoner of my on behavior. I have the right to good food and medical care. I have the right to fresh air and green grass. I have the right to socialize with dogs and people. I have the right to have my needs respected. I have the right to special time with my people. I have the right to be foolish and silly, and make my person laugh. I have the right to earn trust, and trust in return. I have the right to be forgiven. I have the right to die with dignity. I have the right to be remembered well. Sounds like the vet did not give your doggy thier rights. You did well, cared for her, loved her, and did your best...you did right. Be well. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
