  1. The main pack tray might open later, because the reserve side is getting loose.
  2. You still missed a step. Your altitude? Id cut it away mine, because I got time to do it so. Under 300m Id just open my reserve, other thing that I'm not going so low without a working canopy anyway.
  3. It does not really matter for a beginner. They need 4-10 pack jobs before they learn what to do and stop only for the inspections, check points.
  4. Notice that packing is a religion. Of course my way is better anyway I would not pack that way. I did
  5. Sure, some people still jump accuracy canopies and nothing wrong with that.
  6. for flat packing? where? Why do you need flat packing?
  7. I had 4 or 5, but I did not have any. Just stay close and stabilize it.
  8. You can jump whatever you want if you are comfortable with it. I jump Triathlon 160 or Cobalt 135 with wing suit. I'm still more relaxed with Triathlon. Its more fun to jump cobalt, because my has some closed end cells on opening....
  9. Think! Why? Because arm wings are open too.... How about closing them? Eh, are you going to go head down? So what? at least not spinning anymore. I really don't think it would be a pressurization problem. 2 things feed the back spin: leg wing gives the rotation and arm wings keep it on level. You can easily kill one of them.
  10. I used them mixed with rubber bands for locking stows for some time. I have not noticed any unusual.
  11. I've tried. I could not find proper rubber tube for that. I've found a silicon stuff manufacturer. They produce silicon tubes in all kind of properties. I've browsed their samples and pick what I find the most useful.
  12. I fly a Stealth. I've got some funny, spinning exit lately. Everything went back to normal after arching hard.
  13. Hiall, Some of us is going to Empuriabrava and flying WS in Empuriabrava 26th of Oct-1st of Nov. Anyone else coming?
  14. For locking stows: 5x8(mm inner x mm outer), 4x6 for the rest. The material is silicon tube. They get a bit softer after use and I sometimes break them using a pull-up cord.
  15. How do you get there for the first place? Are you just observing the changing colors of blue and green?
  16. I can't remember. I've packed Velocity several times. I'd rather go for 7. It doesn't matter.
  17. One cell of the cross-braced is divided in 3 and the middle part is closed....
  18. Hi, Is anyone else using that? I could not find suitable sw, so I have started to develop my own. My setup is phone + bluetooth GPS receiver. I'm going to use bluetooth head-set for audible feedback from GPS data. Ideas?
  19. I prefer to have a MTK II chipset based GPS receiver or logger. Qstarz 818X, BT-Q1000X or I-Blue 747 A+. They are more sensitive, faster to get fix, have longer battery life. Anyway most places and software can not handle logs more than 1Hz fix.
  20. What can you do if people does not read the (f) manual? Making a tube stow tighter is not about double wrap it..... We got a recommendation here for our student gear. Do not double wrap the locking stows. There are only rubber bands on student gear.
  21. Ok, I check and let you know. BTW I have posted before you might find it if you search.
  22. I make them for myself, they are cheap too. I can make them on proper size.
  23. You got a set of data. Each entry has time, position, elevation, ground speed. How can you find possible exit/deployment from the data?
  24. I'm working on my gps data logger of my own. In the perspective of the gps logger how would you define exit, deployment?
