  1. Have you asked SunPath already? Javelin Container Sizing Chart
  2. So why do you need a waterproof camera which can not be operated in free-fall for skydiving?
  3. So. You can have a wristband or lanyard with any camera. I made the last 3 pictures an old 36mm camera.
  4. I can see remote control, so you can not use it in free-fall. You can take picture with any camera under canopy. Its useless for skydiving.
  5. I can ask same kind of question about roma(gipsy)/piky skydivers. I have not seen/meet any(yet).
  6. I had some jumps on an Icon. The miniforce system can be a solution of the higher cut-away forces due to mini risers/small rings. The enlenght "ring" is just a longer lever.
  7. Can't just be replaced with the same sized flash drive?
  8. I can see olny 4 on each side? Can you show me the fifth?
  9. I have not jumped balloon yet. Check yourself, see attached file! Oh, I have to addmit, that I have removed missplaced trackpoints.
  10. I have a Garmin Geko 301 with barometric altimeter mounted on the back, soft part of my Z1 full face helmet in a soft pouch. I can attach images later.
  11. It's so funny. Everyone has its own proven theory why their rigs are faster in reserve deployment. Strong/QuasarII: we have spring loaded reserve covers...
  12. Some of them has LANC, here you can find a list of those having LANC.
  13. I did not dare. I hand-washed mine wing rubbing itself in 2 session for about 5 hours.
  14. Please read S&T forum sticky.
  15. ??? In practice you have to tell the pilot in what direction you want the jump-run. We usually tell the pilot over which landmark we want to have the jump-run or "just fly into the wind" (C172-C207).
  16. Thats what you get from a hot-air balloon.
  17. Spotting from 600-800-1000m is not a magic if visibility conditions are good. I think anyone can learn it, at least everyone has managed it who got B license in our club. Its an every days' practice on a place with small plane, but it can be a rare wisdom with big planes and GPS. Anyway you do have to know and _check_ your spot and airspace too. Yes I did some jumps by GPS only, but that is a different story.
  18. It does not sound like a safe place to jump.
  19. How about letting the steam out of your head? You might not see your display from it and it might cause reading disabilities . Read cobaltdan's post again and you might understand that Cobalt and Space are not the same. If it does not even help just read the label. You know two canopies are the same if and only if both have the same manufacturer and same model name. Simple, isn't it? You might say that your Space is almost identical with Contrail from PV. It might be even true.
  20. Would you be so kind to qoute it? Or just go and check the Cobalt order form from Atair. Solo and Pilot might share the airfoil, but they are not the same canopy.
  21. Yeah. Notice that packing is like a religion. You have to have: -a special, outstanding technique -faith in your technique -enough effort to evangelize others to use your technique And there are faithless people trying to prove that you are wrong, unholy and evil. They are going to use any evil means to put Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt in your head. They might say: -it won't open -it will blow up -it will kill you -it will kill you and others too -it will spin up -it will open off-heading At last, but not least although you have done everything and anything and followed your way there can be the act of God and some unexpected might happen. As you see packing is not about putting or stuffing anything into something. Its about a war of good and evil.
  22. You are right. Sometime it is really hard to pack faster using pro-pack than some old bones do in flat-pack.
  23. Notice that the biggest Cobalt is 150 in production. Your Space might have the same airfoil.
  24. Multiple choice? I have 2? It seems to be a popularity contest...
