  1. That is my way too. But it is not really cheaper. You might not need a more expensive camcorder with AV-in than the basic model. You might need belt pack for the camera, batteries for the bullet cam, a Cameye Sport and a custom, low profile AV cable too. And finaly the picture quality might not be as good either.
  2. paragear Javelin That's not even there.
  3. So? Crossports usually made of low cf material and not ZP.
  4. I have not seen Skyhook on any Javelin order form.
  5. That's still physics. Our rig does not react with clean water.
  6. Thanks. I think I have more difference than 6mm on closing loops used when my canopy is normal or extra dry.
  7. How is that defined there? I don't have my manual in hand now. Anyway grommets suppose to be over each other or at least close. That canopy can be oversized for that H/C or really tight and packed really lousy.
  8. How about common sense? Does it define when is a loop considered broken?
  9. I was in a boogie. The place was not extraordinary. I can still remember one line from the security briefing:
  10. 163 cm / 5.3 feets from pin to PC.
  11. Why do you think so? If it is connected to your reserve you have a high opening and cut it away, but fail to deploy reserve. It can save your life.
  12. You can shorten the closing loop by yourself. It is not rocket science just a piece of line.
  13. Correct. I had jumps with PPKU/KAP-3 in Hungary attached either to the main or reserve. Think again! Do you really want to have a ADD has to be set before ever jump and arm after you climbed over its activation altitude by pulling a pin out? That belongs to a museum! I forgot to arm last time I used. Its better not to have any ADD than having PPKU/KAP-3. That way you do know that you are own your own. Even the FXC12000 is more sophisticated.
  14. Based on what? Have you tried it? Or just repeating what you've heard like a parrot.
  15. I have seen people flying Panasonic too.
  16. Define extreme cold! I jumped when ground temperature was about -5 - 15C in Finland. It was not more than 10C in our packing hall and it was quite humid there. My right was stored in a room with temperature over 10C. I had usual openings. The key could be pack it before you jump it and keep it in a worm place. I've read about a BASE fatality where a rig was packed wet and got frozen. That canopy said to be a solid brick of ice.
  17. Look around in your own yard, you can name at least one BS rule or BSR.
  18. Not just in Germany, AFAIK in Hungary too. BTW, Germany should be written in capital like U.S.A. or any state of it.
  19. Agree. I got some experience how a situation can "improve" by the time is going slowly midair. I was landing a slite turn in order to avoid land on tree in the mild of a forest. Have a good plane A and execute it! Have plane B and C and a lot other version between them if plane A can be reached!
