  1. LANC is a wired based electronic remote control. All LANC device is a microcontroller based system which issue/read codes by a given protocol. If you know the codes to issue and someone can design and implement your idea.
  2. Would you be nice and turn the CAPS LOCK off, please? FYI all caps means yelling online... Thanks.
  3. Hm, not bad. Its seems to be quite compact.
  4. I had lots of track dive before my FFC. I got my track position a bit burned in , so I was going a bit sub-optimal with FF time of 64 sec.
  5. Nope. You asked for an audible only
  6. I use Optima as audible and Neptune as a digital altimeter. I have not used Neptune as an audible. I had a ProTrack before. Optima is more advanced than ProTrack.
  7. Was yours made on Monday?
  8. Its just up to you. Get some make a custom LANC remote for you.
  9. As you heard that is not a bug, thats a feature. Just get used to it.
  10. Nice to see that you were agree. I promise you a custom pull up cord from the pull up cord tree if I see one .
  11. Really? I've though they got it made somewhere or are pull ups growing on the pull up tree?
  12. Hard to tell. I have not measured yet. I can fly with GPS some time and tell if you are interested.
  13. I can not remember, but I can measure from pin to PC. It is definitely shorter than recommended. I did not mean to avoid anything. I have a 36" F111 kill-line PC with a short bridle and I got no problem with it so far, although I don't deploy from full flight. E.g. Atair recommends 24" ZP kill-line PC for canopy 150 sqft or under. I had one dive with a Coblat135 and 24" ZP PC and wing suit, opening was just fine. I have not experienced any of those problems so far.
  14. Ask manufacturers! They usually have them for give away.
  15. If you did not cause traffic problem for other then what is the problem here? Has anyone complained? If someone would be already in his/her left pattern you might face each other on the crosswind leg. That could be a problem.
  16. Pilot150 WL 1.5 80m for a 90 degrees 5-6 seconds (left) dive started from double fronts.
  17. I do it for the first reason, the second is just a bonus.
  18. I use Optima and Neptune as a visual altimeter and logbook.
  19. Well. I jump a really short bridle, so don't think it can make a knot on itself.
  20. For the reason mentioned. You don't need a xbraced for having high front riser pressure. Other reason can be flying slower in holding area.
  21. Good for you. I got freefall time and speeds miscalculations time 2 time and I got -40m on the ground after I have landed.
  22. Back went is handy. You may forget the rest.
  23. Most electronic equipment can support both standards except Sony . They same some dime on PAL support and selling PAL equipment higher price than NTSC.
  24. Why do you need a high capacity battery? You can have about an hour recording time with standard battery. That can be more than 12-20 dives. Get a charger instead.
