this isn't really correct. rather a different perspective is the way one should look at it. the earth prior too the flood had a canopy (ie the canopy theory). this canopy created a double atmosphere on earth. science has proved the beneficial effects of growth and healing of double atmosphere environments. this is replicated in barometric pressure studies, anyway. take a reptile that never stops growing over their lives. if they live 10-15 years they get too be X size. extend their lives too 700 years they will get much larger. preflood biblical accounts have several records of people living well into their 6 hundreds and older. under this theory, the ark wouldn't have needed full size dinosaurs with the rapid change in climate after the flood these larger reptiles would have died off. The potentail risk is that in a hard drive, the heads do not contact the recording surface. They float above the surface on a small cushion of air, produced by the spinning platters. Your lucky... well i think your next comment explains this perfectly, I used to use PPro running on XP and it worked fine, there were problems from time to time, but nothing a reboot didnt fix... although i tended to find the bigger your project go, the more unstable it became... Buy a G4 powerbook.... job done.... Also with FCP 3, you can do real time video effects on a notebook, well a Powerbook.... Also you can get the G4 with a 15" 1152 x 768 widescreen display, compare that to say a 15" 1600 x 1200 display, and you choose which you would rather stare at for hours... The other advantage is that whilst slider stows are ok at keeping your slider down, the dont stop it flapping around which can be a distraction... yes there is the argument about drag, but the difference is minute, if at all any. Also if you are using slider stows then most likey you will collaspe your slider, so as well as the slider itsself flapping away, you have the two draw cords flapping around again a distraction. In theory you should not be putting yourself into a situation that is likely to end up needing a chop once you have stowed your slider...
