The American Way....is real. Ive always said, the American Way is Go Big..or Go home ....you CAN do it. As per the (yuk) Canadian Way...go small and hope you can do it. Canadians will invest 10 cents and want a dollar return Americans will invest a dollar, and if they get 10 cents return they are grateful, because they know thats only the beginning...of many dollars return in later years I like the American Way better. And then you have the Iraqi way, the Mexican way, the French way (surrender), the italian way, and every other misguided way. I'll take the American way every time. Bill Cole D-41

Years ago, A flight took off from somewhere in northern Canada, with four people on board. A youngman was sitting in the front with the pilot, and his sister and a fourth person was in the rear seats. The young man, made a remark, that he could actually step out of the plane and walk or fly alongside it. With that he opened the door, and got out. His body was never found. What the heck would make anyone do a thing like that....his mind must have just snapped. Bill Cole D-41

I know all about the "freedom of speech" stuff in the USA, and although I agree with it in principle, I think there has to limits somewhere...those photos are past the limits. I feel that the US Government is suffering from the "George Armstrong Custer" syndrome.... Oh it cant happen to us...we'll show them. The Sioux and Cheyenne are still laughing over that one. I dont think Bush or Chaney or anyone in government is willingly turning a blind eye. Its just they should be doing more since Al Qaeda has proven they mean business...and they are in business to destroy the USA and Israel. Bill Cole D-451

I think some of you aremissing my point here. Im not saying one should not be prepared...Im saying the government should be going after these freakos with greater intensity who are buying and/or selling suitcase bonmbs. Perhaps they dont have any such weapons, BUT if the USA had taken a more decisive role in checjking out allthe warnings they had about Islamic terrorists within their borders, they might have stopped 9/11. Sure the Islamic nutbars can say they have them, just to pose a big scare...but what IF they do. As for manintenance, the Russians who sold them must know something about maintenance, and they'll sell anything for a price, even knowledge on how to. I hope Bush doesnt sit on his hands until he hears the big boom, and then says...hey, maybe we should investigate . Bill Cole D-41

Even Rumsfeld, Chaney and FBI Meuller says it will only be a metter of time till they get them, and that they would not hesitate to use them (That quote from a book) Lets say they bought ten....and try to smuggle them into North America...how many would get through? If they come through Canada, with the inept government here, they might even get all ten in. I do niot think they will use them against Israel...but if they were to cripple the USA, then Israel would be at the mercy of all the Arab countries. Then there would be a drastic rise in anti-semitism, because the State of Israel would be blamed for everything from both sides. Bill Cole D-41

A report came out last night saying Al Qaeda has purchased some of those 100+ suitcase sized nuclear weapons that went missing when the Soviet Union fell apart. They claim these weapons are available on the black market in central Asia. Now, what do you think they want them for ????? Bill Cole D-41

Jump #97, Main was a 7 gore TU modification on a C-9 canopy. Date was July 31st 1964, at lemon Dropzone, in Ontario. About 9 more since then. Bill Cole D-41

Right on Mac. The actual Para Sailing canopy isnt the same configuration, with the same holes as a PC, and they forgive a bit more than the PC will. Bill Cole D-41

Thats correct, but the canopies they use are especially made for towing behind a boat. People have tried using Para Commanders, they dont fly the same, it can be dangerous. bill cole

Thanks...that wasnt the one I was involved in. The crash I was at was in 1965 . This pilot was a very accomplished Piano player, could have played in any great music hall. What a loss ...two great talents, piano and flying. I can fly, but cant play the piano..wish I could. This guy was great at both. Bill

I was there when a Blue Angel crashed right in front of where I was. I got to his body...he was face down in the mud, both legs ripped off at the knees. It wasnt a nice thing to find.. It still upsets me...many years later. One of those things from which the pain never leaves within you. I dont think it was the same Blue Angel crash you spoke of, because I recall something else that happened the night before, so I "dont think" it was the pilot who played Dead Ants. Bill Cole D-41

certainly you arent suggesting skydivers are normal....or anything close to normal. I dont know of another sport where participants seem to go bananas after the sporting part is done. Imagine Tiger Woods and others golfers doing the things skydivers do...not very likely. somebody has to stay sane in this crazy world...dontcha think??? Bill Cole
