Not to hijack this thread any further.but.......... I must protest the degrading of small japanese cars....Yes,you could drive over a tercel with a 3/4 ton truck....but that same tercel can also out brake,out handle and out accelerate a 3/4 ton truck...same as a motorcycle can do the same to the tercel......its a power to weight advantage. Idiots drive all manor of vehicles..be it a tercel,3/4 ton ford,benz or a crotch rocket......lets keep to degrading the morons piloting said vehicles instead of making it a "my car/truck is bigger than yours" thingy. Btw...I presently drive a 91 tercel....and i dont cut ppl off...but have been cut off many times by morons...some of them driving 3/4 ton trucks...damn good thing I was driving a tercel(or any small car) otherwize accident avoidance would not have been possible and BANG!..... Shit happens....1st thing to learn when riding a motorcycle...you are invisible...also works well for driving anything......be aware ppl , get off the cel phone and pay attn while driving.

Hitting animals really sucks...I got a large buck last year...tore the left headlamp and fender off. The g/f came opon a deer hit tonight..poor thing had a broken leg etc....managed to hobble off the road into a ditch with traffic roaring past it...she called me..I called the dept. of lands and forest...got a call back a little bit ago...they found it alive...put it down on the spot Fyi...you could hit a 1200lb moose and not have your airbags deploy....it takes a severe deceleration(not sure of the actual G's) to trip a airbag....but..they do not or are not supposed to trip for minor inpacts.

Sooo...how about a party for the opening F1 race next year?

Hmmm..using someones gear to aid in packing...if there packing..then they have been around a DZ before and should know not to touch other ppl's gear without permission...sounds awful fishy to me...I'd keep a eye on them and advise everyone else to do so also.

My g/f has it every 3 months.....a friend of hers has it every 2.5 months. Edited: NO snippy snippy or clampy clamps for me!

1st time in a small plane was to jump(c-182). Been on many comercial jets and proped planes before(737,dash8,c-130 herculies and another military one...think it was called a cosmo)...also had a ride in a labrdor and huey choppers ....little of subject..but had a 4 hour trip in a submarine also.(cadets was good to me as a teenager)

A alignment at my shop is $70 (can) for most cars....most modern cars require a 4 wheel alignment . Wether to use a dealer,national chain or a small shop depends on who is doing the work...great techs work at all levels as do shitty techs...try posting on a local news group for advise on finding a good tech(the real good ones are usually well know and have a large clientel). Remember...a alignment cannot be performed if there are wornout parts(ie: tie rod ends,ball joints etc.)...alignments are very percise ..down to the 64th of a inch. Do a little research and find yourself someone well know for quality work.

Swarming..hehe I think finding a ride on a small plane at a decient alt...would be a much safer move then jumping low alt from a underpowed/overloaded powered parachute....say you were crop dusting and fell out

The more rides to alt to pursue your new fav thing...the more you will like "de plane" Give it ...lets say another 20 jumps...by then all you will care about is the skydive...the plane ride will be just a little time to look at the scenery,go over your skydive,rehearse your emergency proceedures and stick your tongue out at fellow skydivers. C-182's are great...any small plane is...you feel what is going on...sure there cramped..and take 20 mins to get to 10k...I,ve learned to enjoy the ride up...time to relax, get your thoughts together..give the pilot a wet willy In time you prob will learn to enjoy the ride to alt and start sticking your head out the door to watch students leave. Plz make sure you post about "De Plane" after jump#22
