  5. Who would I be not to post in the thread of one of my favorite pastimes :) The male one should instead shake periodically throughout the day, say 20 times? Or once an hour? While the female one should only shake about once per month-if you're lucky :) Or maybe not if your lucky enough to find the "right" woman- are there any "right" woman out there? Anyone ever tried this one: when your less horny half is in bed, bring them some water and asprin, and when they say what for say "For your headache!" When they say, "I dont have a headache!" Simply say , "Good lets F#$K!" If it only worked :) Guess I'll just go skydiving D.Chisolm C-28534 webmaster@sunraydesigns.com http://www.sunraydesigns.com

  14. This bulletin was released this morning from Ed Scott, USPA's Director of Government Relations DZO INCOMING A Bulletin for USPA Group Members Vol. 5, Issue 3 May 9, 2001 FAA ISSUES PART 105 FINAL RULE! The final rule that amends Part 105 was published in today's Federal Register (Link it at http://www.access.gpo.gov/su_docs/aces/fr-cont.html , then look under FAA, or link it at http://www.faa.gov/avr/armhome.htm and look under "Recently Published Rules.") With a 60-day waiting period, changes take effect on July 9, 2001. Attached is a USPA summary of the new rules. Tandem Tandem skydiving is incorporated into Part 105; exemptions will no longer be required (and students will not need an explanation of why they are an "experimental test jumper"). Tandem instructors will need to meet certain experience requirements (three years in the sport, 500 freefalls, and a D license) and complete a training course conducted by a manufacturer or other FAA-accepted course provider. AADs must be installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. There is no age limit in the FAR. Packing Part 65 and Part 105 are changed to say that persons who may pack a single-harness main parachute include: a rigger, the person making the next jump, and any person under the direct supervision of a rigger. Persons who may pack a tandem main parachute include: a rigger, the tandem instructor making the next jump, and any person under the direct supervision of a rigger. Direct supervision is defined to mean "that a...rigger personally observes a...person packing a main parachute to the extent necessary to ensure that it is being done properly, and takes responsibility for that pack job." (Preamble language suggests that the FAA intent is that the rigger be on the premises and available for consultation.) AADs If an AAD is installed on any parachute system, the AAD must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Tandem systems must have an "operational" AAD and the AAD must be armed during each jump. Radio Communication Communication with the relevant ATC facility must be established at least five minutes prior to the jump. A pilot is no longer required to report when the last parachute is on the ground, but must now report when the last skydiver exits and when the operation ceases. If radios become inoperative, the jump must be aborted. ATC Authorization/Notification Jumps in Class A, B, C, and D airspace require an ATC authorization; jumps in Class E and G airspace require notification to ATC. The authorization/notification is made with the ATC facility with airspace jurisdiction. (Flight Service is removed as a contact for these purposes.) Foreign Skydivers Foreigners may jump their own non-TSO'd, single-harness rigs as long as those rigs meet, and are packed in accordance with, their own country's certification requirements. No Changes No changes were made to: * holding pilots responsible for skydivers creating a hazard; * requirements for airport management approval; * the reserve repack cycle; and, * Part 119's 25-mile from-airport exemption from requirements for a commercial operating certificate. 17. Better yet - lets send them all BACK!!!! Dont get me wrong..... who wouldnt want to skydive all day, get free gear and jumps, and an un beatable exersize program :) as well as get to be good!-LOL I decided while I had a broken ankle from jumping in 96 that I was not going to go into the military, as I had been planning to do the year before. Sometimes I question that choice. But "spamming" skydivers with hoop dreams is low this will make for a good prank for my whuffo girlfriend though D.Chisolm C-28534 webmaster@sunraydesigns.com http://www.sunraydesigns.com
  18. Ok this caught me by surprise: I live in Georgia, and today I got a letter in the mail from the Department of the Army. Dear fellow skydiver, I would like to take this opportunity to offer you a unique invitiation to be a part of an "army of one" with a chance to become a Golden Knight - a member of the United States Army Parachute Team. etc etc... Did anyone else get this letter yet? And what is with this "Army of One" stuff? What ever happened to the teamwork theme? D.Chisolm C-28534 webmaster@sunraydesigns.com http://www.sunraydesigns.com

  20. Yeah I'm pretty sure he pro packed! -LOL His canopy now is a velocity 79 and I think the hornet jumps were just trying to "test" it out to get some input on the canopy. I'm sure he packed it with a variety of differences eg:slider more to the front, rolled nose-,unrolled, longer stows, etc. His overall opinion of the canopy was upbeat he just said he didnt ever get the openings the way he liked them.
