ATTN: Men, do you want to see naked gal post whore glory?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to livendive's topic in The Bonfire
You mean that you don't want all of the men to ogle your bum crack? -
I don't consider myself an exhibitionist. I love being nude, but I do it in the privacy of my own home with all shades/drapes drawn and doors locked. It's for myself to only share with a SO, and I tend to date people who are REALLY comfortable with their own nudity. I have only been publicly nude at an outdoor natural hot springs, but I covered up with a towel, as I was entering/exiting the water. As you know, I posted a photo of myself yesterday in a thread, showing a little cleavage (not nude, not topless), similar to what could be seen in a bathing suit top. I did it because that doesn't suddenly change who I am as a person. It just bothers me that men can post ANYTHING, and women need to fear the repercussions. I cannot get over that. I do NOT like to feel fear, especially about something like that. So far, every man has been respectful about that picture, and they also know that I am not the kind who would normally post something like that, so it really was viewed as a statement. I'm certainly ok with that. Edited for typos.

Yes Remi, there were girly pillow fights in our teddies, random giggling, and we even played truth-or-dare...NOT!
-
I agree! Andrea is gorgeous, and I've also seen her in her thong. We roomed together, and I had the room temp. REALLY high. Sorry! Btw, I'll bet that Slappie was addressing Johnnysgirly, not Skymama with his post. She's only posted her bare belly on here once, and nothing more.

I thought the same thing. Glad it was explained!

This isn't too unique, but why not come to Southern California. You can join us at the Wigs 2 fundraiser at Skydive Elsinore ~ skydive, party, fly in the tunnel, etc. Plus, there are many other things to do in SoCal.

Windtunnel at the Olympic Games Closing Ceremonies
VanillaSkyGirl replied to tunnelfly's topic in Wind Tunnels
I am so excited that tunnel flying was shown with such widespread exposure, and it made sense to keep the tunnel flying focused on the beauty of body flight out in the open, especially for the whuffo audience. Everyone watching seemed so fascinated at what they were viewing. It was wonderful to know that they were very excited at the prospect of body flight as a sport. Referring to the video clip that I saw on Dawn's site (thank you, Dawn!), I loved how slowly and deliberately the flyers showed each move. It was obviously choreographed, like a dance. (I love that!) The costumes (they looked like white doves) and music were beautiful, elegant. It really focused on the love of flying, not doing ten million tricks in a tunnel. I honestly have to say that even watching the belly flyer in boxman, reminded of the first time that I felt the wind on my body after jumping out of a plane as a skydiver. I had so many feelings of wonder and possibility going through my head, that something so incredible could actually be a possibility. The Olympics clip captured some of those first-time flyers feeling for the audience, like they were watching the impossible made possible. It was a magical moment. Hopefully, many children watched and fell in love with flying. Maybe someday, they will be saying that they first decided to try body flight based on watching it at the closing Olympics ceremony of this year. -

ATTN: Men, do you want to see naked gal post whore glory?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to livendive's topic in The Bonfire
I similarly as RhondaLea and Beth about this. That is a very personal issue for women, and we all have different viewpoints and comfort levels. Personally, I would NOT post a nude pic, nor show friends, either (but for one special person.) Posting part of my chest is NOT the same as being nude online. My picture was like Beth's bikini photo. Both her and I were not showing more than anyone would see at a beach. It's not even the same as flashing, which for the record, I do not do in person, nor online. Not ever. -

VanillaSkyGirl replied to livendive's topic in The Bonfire
RhondaLea, maybe I haven't read enough of your posts, but I don't necessarily see you posting THAT much more about sex than others. That's what I mean by saying that I don't get it. I don't think that they should be treating you so harshly. It's not right. Thanatos~ That's cute! Turtle~ Hey you...nope, it shall remain at just 1/2. -

VanillaSkyGirl replied to livendive's topic in The Bonfire
That is so sweet. Thank you, and posting any more would not happen, anyway, since that would seriously not be within my personal comfort zone! Liveandive~ Thanks, Dave. You know what is funny? Gia and I were just laughing on Friday night about how I would NEVER flash anyone, and here I am half-flashing ONLINE. Oh well...never say never, I guess! -
Oh my God! Thank you so much for pointing that out, Remi! I almost skimmed and left without clicking that...

VanillaSkyGirl replied to livendive's topic in The Bonfire
Gmittar~ Thank you so much! I haven't had too much experience with that kind of attitude from online guys, not like you have. That is truly unfortunate, my dear. I don't understand it. Believe it or not, for the most part, men from DZ.com have been gentlemen when around me, and I really appeciate that. Hopefully, that doesn't change. -
ATTN: Men, do you want to see naked gal post whore glory?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to livendive's topic in The Bonfire
Here is a pic from a couple of months ago. (I took it by myself and for myself.) It's not nude, but it's revealing for me. People who know me know that I would normally not post this kind of thing on here. I usually only share a pic like this with a special person in my life. I posted this because why should us women be afraid to post semi-nude or sexy pics, while men are posting pictures of their erect penises? Why can the men do that without repercussions, yet we are all afraid of being stereotyped for showing breasts? It's not right. Now, does posting cleavage seriously change the way that men or women will look at me, think of me, refer to me, etc. from now on? Maybe it will help to weed out people who would be so quick to stereotype without perhaps knowing what I am like as a person. Yet, if anyone even attempts to send me a rude, inappropriate PM or e-mail...well, please DO NOT even think about it. -

That does NOT sit well with me. You are right, RhondaLea, but I do NOT like that things are this way. Hmmm...I'll be right back... -

Oh my goodness, no! There's almost nothing personal about this conversation, my dear. We're discussing "fashion". It's nothing important, if you think about it. No worries...lol. I just thought that I could state my points of view, and why I have them. There's no real need for such intense discussion about some things. Much of it is subjective. Like I said, I don't enjoy talking about "fashion" online because fashion comes and goes, but design is my passion. I don't mind talking design.
-
I LOVE that! I want to call Jeffy "Cheesecake", too! Too cute...
-
There's nothing wrong with Banana Republic (many of my sweaters are from there

This is why I don't like to talk about design online. I don't like to reveal much about myself now or of my past, but I've designed with and worked for couture (yes, couture) designers from overseas/Europe and from the US over the years, beginning from when I was a design student at Otis Parsons, until now. YES, we/they ALL use fashion/trend forecasting in varying degrees. Trust me... I've been in the industry for a while now, and I only write of or give advice with what I have personal experience.

Agreed. I couldn't help myself...it was a rainy/cold weekend Uhhh...no, I actually LIKE reading Bobbi's posts/threads, like this retro one. I wasn't referring to hers, in particular.
