I don't even have cable, which is neccessary to watch television where I live. I have only static. I only use my television to watch rental movies & shows.

i don't watch television at all, so I'm totally lost with this whole post.

Does it bother you if someone does not respond to you??
VanillaSkyGirl replied to Thanatos340's topic in The Bonfire
So, do people have different write back rules on different websites? On DZ.com, I try to respond to all PMs, but I have different rules on Myspace. If I receive a message or comment from a friend/acquaintance on MySpace, I'll always eventually respond. It's just plain rude not to do so. Likewise, if I send a message or comment to an acquaintance or "friend and don't hear back from that person, I think it's very rude. If I have a random message from a total stranger(male) on Myspace, I might not answer at all, unless he/she skydives, has similar work background or knows a mutual friend well. Also, I won't add men who obviously just want to collect women on his friend list, but who have nothing in common with me. If it's a skydiver, pilot, rockclimber, designer, artist, photographer, etc, then I often feel ok about adding him, especially if the person points out that he's a friend of a friend of a friend. I'm a little more lenient about adding unknown women as friends, although I wonder why some of the women on there have asked to be my friend, if I can see no obvious similarities. I also expect to keep in contact with my friends, so if someone hasn't written or I have written to them ever, then I don't see the point in having them as friends. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to hear if people think differently about writing back on Myspace. Edited for typo. -

The same exact thing happens to me, but I eventually remember to write back. I usually want to spend some time writing back to friends, when I have a moment to write. Posting can be easy and mindless, but PMs can be a complicated or personal dialogue that need some attentiveness to them. Other times, I have too many PMs hit me at around the same time. I can only write so fast. I usually answer them, later, instead of when they come in. I do think that it's rude to not answer someone at all. However, things do come up, sometimes. -

Lol...that's a little personal, but I'll be back.
-
Don't we all wish, Gia! (I love Keith!)
-
Lmao...ok guys, since nobody wants to even think about jumping the fence, I have a new question for you. Whom would you want to see jump the fence for whom? The two fictional people can be any gender (male/female), and you can want for them to jump the fence for any reason. Example: George Clooney and Brad Pitt jumping the fence together because it would leave more women for the rest of the guys out there with less competition.
-
You're right! I OWE HIM. (I love when we hurt men together. )
-
You are SO AWESOME, Peter! Good answers!
-
Yes, I could NEVER see that happening with you, Chris!
-
4-way, perhaps? Maybe, it means that all four of us have to jump the fence together. Edited: Wait, that's actually five people, so one is the camera person and can switch out as needed!
-
I'm not asking anyone to jump the fence. I would never jump the fence, myself. It's just a fun thread, people...nothing more! (I think that some men are skeered. )
-
I think that you've slept with all of us...at least, in the same bed as all of us. I am still working on my list, but you're there, too.
-
That's "jumped the shark". You know, I think that my thread already "jumped the shark".
-
Oh, look at how a straight man responded...YEAH! (Still, it doesn't count if it's yourself.)
-
Am I so confused...say whaahaat?
-
Anyone? Krisanne said that someone was on her "jump the fence" list, so I was wondering if anyone else has such a list, as well. I have to think about this one, while I see other people's lists. I have one or two names, so far. There are so many beautiful (inside and out) people out there. Edited: This is a list of people whom you would want to be with, if you changed your sexual orientation.

Mel's on my "jump the fence" list. I'm not even close to jumping the fence, but if I did...Mel's on my list, too. Btw, don't tell her that I said that. (Hi Mel! ) (Yes, they ALL read DZ.com...)
-
Wait, no...I don't even skydive, anymore. I haven't been skydiving in over a year, but I'll be back. My vote goes to Melanie Curtis because she's definitely HOT without trying and flies like rockstar.

You mean like you just did with this thread title? Whoosh! Actually, John got it. He and I were just talking about the matching thread titles.

That alone is enough to motivate me to get internet access at home. xoxo g Ahahaha...you know, I almost spit out my water when I read what Beth wrote. I cannot even imagine how many people would pay good money to see Beth that way.

Yeah Gia, I've wanted to smack those, as well.
