    Hey Nita~ LOL...but Sunday's weather doesn't matter because the Locks of Love event was on SATURDAY at Elsinore, along with the crappy weather! We would LOVE to see you, again! Look HERE...we are still having a big party at the DZ very soon, and we are calling it WIGS 2! I can hardly wait!

    Wow, thanks for posting this. I was also invited to this 2 on 2 Airspeed camp, but I couldn't make it and was wondering how it went. I was wondering how long the camp days are from start to end, and how much time (an hour?) that you have in between the 15 minute sessions. Are there night sessions, like the regular Airspeed tunnel camp night sessions? How does the set-up differ from a regular Airspeed camp, besides being perhaps faster-paced? Thanks again for posting!

    Hi Kris~ That was my original plan, but since I had planned this event to be small-sized, I didn't feel that I or our hairstylist could be efficiently set up at two different places over just one weekend. I did the best that I could do with the event and am very pleased with how everything turned out, despite the rain. Kris, I hope that you had a good time with us that night.

    Thanks, you guys. Actually, I have had VERY short hair before. The only reason that I didn't go that short again is because my brother is getting married this summer, and I would love to wear my hair up for his wedding.

    Hey girlie, By now, you know that I love the new cut that you have. I cannot stress how cute that I think it looks on you! Also, I didn't post on DZ.com about my Locks of Love haircut, but people have been asking. I have no photos of how long my hair was in the back. (The front sides were much shorter.) When not curled, the ends went all the way down to just above my waist. These are a couple of the last pics (though not very good ones of my hair...lol) of me in the month before my haircut and right after. I miss my long hair, but it feels so good to know that children are going to benefit from all of our hair donations. Rock on to ALL my Locks of Love sisters out there. You are all wonderful!

    Yes, the coaches from both Perris and Elsinore (Erin and Mel) donated their coaching fees from the Wigs on Fire sessions that I booked for the Locks of Love event. I posted that the tunnel time would be partially donating their money to the cause on my event page and on here, as well. You must have missed that part of my Wigs on Fire thread. The event WAS held partially at both DZs. It was at Elsinore for the jumping and at Perris' tunnel for the tunnel time. Elsinore backed me up completely, even though I spread it over the two places. They also helped me to advertise by posting about it on their website. I felt that I had to choose one main DZ to have the Wigs on Fire party, so I chose Elsinore because they are very easy for me to work with...like family.

    Thank you to everyone who came and who donated hair or money to the Locks of Love foundation. The weekend was so much FUN, and we did well with the event, despite the rainy weather. Even the party being moved worked out. We had a blast at the Sports Stop with our wigs/hats/boas! The success of the weekend could never have happened without the Skydive Elsinore family and without those who came out to support the Locks of Love. Your monetary contributions were generous and were of the heart. I was quite touched by all of you.

    Woohoo...the pictures are up at Skydive Elsinore's website. It's awesome because most of the pics on the website were taken by someone else. Great job by Hammo and Skydive Elsinore for taking the DZ camera to the Sports Stop gathering! (I was wondering whose camera we were all posing for...lol.) Ok folks, I have 58 pics in total, so I'm only attaching some of mine. Look at the "Around the DZ" pics for everyone's combined weekend pics! Check out the Tunnel Pink Mafia's website in a day or two for more pics, including some of the tunnel sessions! Edited: Most of the first page of Elsinore's "Around the DZ" pics with the clear skies were obviously taken on Sunday, It rained on Saturday for our event, which is why we moved the party!

    Do you actually know of anyone who has been injured at Elsinore due to that issue, since the buildings went up? If you land away from the rotors, isn't the problem solved?

    as a guy i have to dispute that assertion.. long hair is infinitely more attractive... You weren't one of the guys at Elsinore when Crystal cut Beth's hair. THEY loved Beth's new haircut and told Beth that SHE looked better with the shorter hair. She looks great with both short and long hair.

I have some of the other pics from the weekend, which I have sent to Christiaan to upload onto Elsinore's website. I'm currently in the middle of thanking everyone that came and that helped with the event. I'll see if anyone else has pics of Marie, Karen or of the other lady's haircuts. I am uploading them to the Tunnel Pink Mafia website, so please be patient. I am dealing with 5 different (Myspace, Tunnel Pink Mafia, Skydive Elsinore, DZ.com, Tunnelflyer) websites right now.
