  1. hehehe tell us how you discovered her soft lips? well maybe cause she was kissing EVERYONE on new years eve. I guess that MY kisses meant nothing to her then. Damn her and her soft lips!
  2. hehehe tell us how you discovered her soft lips? She kissed me a few times on New Year's Eve. She called me a prude for turning my cheek, so I let her kiss me on the lips. All I can say is Chuckie's a lucky monkey!
  3. I have very soft skin, too, but I don't usually use anything at all. Neither did my grandmother (father's mother) when she was alive. She, my father, brothers and myself have the baby softest skin our bodies. It's natural...genetic. However, when my skin is exposed to extremes, it goes fricking beserk. My skin aged 20 years while at Eloy! LOL! You know, I have been told about baby oil. I have also done it before, but it's been a while since I have gone to that extreme. I may have to have to get some today and oil myself down. The thing is that I like for my skin to feel as though there is nothing on it. I hate feeling like I am wearing lotions or creams.
  4. My nose was runny and my eyes were teary for most of the trip. My eyes and upper cheeks were red and raw. It was painful. Sunny, thanks for the lotion up the nose tip. I have to try that. I thought about putting this in the Women's forum, but even the men were buying face creams and lotions for their chapped skin. What is everyone's favorite lotions? I know Heather liked her Mary Kay and Katiebear has some with kinetin in it, I think. Katie's lips are so soft. I want to know what she uses on them. Anvil ~ Thanks Vinny!
  5. have their face skin peel off after Eloy? In Arizona, my face was cracking badly due to my open face. A day or two after I returned to California, my skin (especially around my eyes and upper cheeks) peeled like crazy. My hand skin (on the palms) peeled, too, although I wore gloves up there. Mmmmm....smooth skin.
  6. It was brand new from the factory, and the brake lines were set WAAAY too long. It didn't even respond to input until my hands were below my shoulders. As you can imagine, the flare didn't go as well as originally planned. A well-timed PLF prevented any injury, although I did spend a good hour brushing the desert out of my rig. In any case, I don't hold it against the design of the canopy. I was considering demoing a Pilot until you came up and explained what had just happened to you. It scared me to hear that. However, Vicki (from London) LOVED her Pilot demo! (Of course, it helped that it wasn't out of trim!) Edited: What I was REALLY interested in seeing was the Icon container. It had some VERY unique safety features that I found interesting.
  7. It is basically the same idea as the Odyssey. I demoed a Javelin and I felt that the laterals made the rig tight and restricting. What I like about the Mirage is they have spandex that hugs your body instead of webbing. Their main lift web is still sewn to the outside of the rig, but they have spandex which cuts in and hugs your body. Kind of hard to explain, maybe someone can find a pic, I couldn't real quick, if I get time I will look some more. That's very interesting info. about the spandex versus the webbing. I'd love to see a pic. Thank you so much.
  8. That's what I thought. Thank you for answering my question. The tiny Javelin that I saw (Blueshrew's) had cut-in laterals, too.
  9. What beautiful pictures, Bettina! I have a Bl/wh cropped picture of...my left hip...that is on my boyfriend's desktop. It's tame, but I am so conservative that I've never posted it. After seeing your pics, I think that I may post my hip this weekend. Also, the rest of the girls' Badfish website pics look great!
  10. I have looked into Mirages for this same "S" series reason as I am very petite - 5 ft. tall. What do you mean by "cut in laterals"? Please explain the difference between that and a Javeling Oddyssey or another rig's laterals. I have a huge problem with lateral straps not even coiming close to fitting me on anything that I have tried on. I was shown the Jav Odyssey tiniest A-14 by Greg Gasson in Eloy, which came the closest to fitting me. My tiny friend's tiniest Mirage was also almost small enough. I have yet to meet someone as small as me (I have no hips, too), so I can't wait to get a custom-made rig.
  11. No, I didn't like the annoying Sam, but I wanted them to KEEP him. At least he has something to say. He may be a prick, but he is ballsy. He'll probably get shit done. That is a good thing in my book. I don't care how someone does a task that I may give them, just do it. I will explain things in the beginning, but at some point you have to figure things out youself. I do everything that I can at work to get things done for MY bosses, and I never say that I can't do something. Sam is like that. At least he is alive and giving it 200%. Unconventional ideas and risk-taking can be fabulous or a disaster. Like I said before, he'll win big or loose big. Who knows right now which way it will go.
  12. I listened to it as I tried to do a couple of other tasks. I enjoy multi-tasking. It was interesting to see how Donald Trump thinks and why he makes certain decisions. Certain characters did stick out...like Sam. He's annoying, but he has gumption. He is laying it all on the line and taking risks. He'll either win big or loose big. I am most interested in watching to see Donald's thoughts and decisions. If they make sense, I may to try to apply them on a lesser scale in my own career. I am usually too sweet-appearing with my career while people are trying to claw their way in or above me (or trying to stab me in the back). I had to learn how to swim with the sharks a loooong time ago, in order to survive. Sadly, people in most high-pressure work-environments like to try mess with people that they think are weak. I like to think that I can be an effective leader/boss and keep my niceness ("Get more bees with honey"), but with some people, I have to be a more firm delegator/boss. Sometimes, the only way that I have found that certain screwed-up people at work respect me is when they try to f*ck with me and f*ck with me, until I finally rip them a new a**hole. Sadly, with some, that is all that they can respond to, but I hate having to go there. I truly respect those that work best as a team. Without the team unity, we are nothing. Manufacturing and design is not a pretty business. It is all about the $$$. The majority of the people that I have encountered in this business lie, cheat, steal and will do almost anything to get ahead. It's sick. It is sometimes very emotionally conflicting for me, which is one of the reasons why I haven't worked full-time at it for so long. It is a business that encompasses my life. These junior manufacturing companies, like XOXO and Rampage, sadly take advantage of us time-wise (working skeleton crews to exhaustion sometimes). I still love design and usually love the break-neck pace. I think that there is a lot about how the real world works that could be learned from "The Apprentice" and Mr. Trump. It's interesting ideas, more than anything...
  13. NoshitthereIwas, chuteless...kuwait is hell. Newbie Skybytch hooked! JustRelax, skylord skydiveNFlorida...
  14. I agree. I looked for MANY months and asked so many questions. I also demoed different styles of mains, which I am happy to have done. It was an endless process and is highly personal. You will never know what canopy that you like, until you impartially try them all several times. I am happy with my first rig, but I am also looking to move on to something of better quality and custom fit, as soon as I can downsize. Don't worry, everyone. I am VERY conservative about downsizing my main.
  15. I asked a few very knowledgeable persons/riggers for suggestions for hook knives and placements. Then, I had my rigger attach my hook knife to one of my rig's mudflaps (by a snap), so I could reach it easily if the need ever arose. Visit your rigger with your hookknife and your rig and ask him this same question.
  16. No, they are definitely not worn out, yet.
  17. These may be very stupid, basic questions, but I'd like to have the proper cleaning fluids, cloths, etc. to keep my gear clean. What should I use to clean my altimeter face? What about my full face both helmet and visor (Factory Diver)? I have about 5 or 6 different goggles from the cheapy, student ones to the more pricey non-fog, amber colored ones with the side vents. My goggles seem to ALWAYS get smudged easily. What handy cleaning supplies do you guys use that you like the most? I know that the 3-rigs have some special lubricants that should be applied every so often that Hooksnswoop posted somewhere. I just have to find that post in one of my folders. Do you guys wash your rigs or wipe them down if they are a little dusty from the packing areas? I washed my lead belt and my suits the other day, but how often do you all do this. I used to wash my jumpsuit every week, even though I could not tell the difference from before and after (just on the booties from landings). I'm trying to not to be so prissy and wash my suit too much anymore as I think that I'm doing damage to the spandex on the arms. (Yes, I throw it in the dryer, but I usually set it on "air-dry".) I have never used the ShoeGoo, but I keep checking my booties. Is it too late to apply the Shoe Goo now? Any other tips? Thanks, in advance, everyone.
  18. I understand what you are saying, but what if their hair has been dyed and cut. Their eye color could be changed with contacts, or they could have sunglasses on, etc. I don't know. Perhaps they were being racist, but I don't like to think like that. I would hope that people would look just as hard for children that were not caucasian. Please tell me that I'm not completely naive. They're innocent, little babies for God's sake.
  19. I don't understand why this seems odd to you. The girls' race must be discussed in order to identify them. The man is also white, and the mentioning of his race was also for identification. Why is everyone so overly PC all the time? It doesn't bother me at all. I have seem Amber Alerts before while on the freeways. (Once I remember I was on my way to my old DZ in Taft.) Amber Alerts always make me teary-eyed, but I always appreciate the descriptions, so I can keep looking for any identifying factors on the road. Personally, I don't care if they call the child white, fat and ugly. If even one child is saved, then it was well worth the "strange descriptions". The story really bothers me, and I am praying for these little girls. About your avatar...please put it back up. I've been there, too, with strange PMs regarding my pics. I'm sensitive, so I know what you are going through. Please don't take things to heart because sometimes people go too far. You are a very cute skychickie.
  20. thats it!! my reputation is now ruined. OK, then, Gimp...you tried and succeeded in getting me drunk. (Actually, Heather was the one who really pushed me over the edge from buzzed to drunk with her shot.) Once I was drunk, you also tried to put your hand on MY bum. that lasted for half a second before I removed your hand. You tried to kiss me on the lips when the clock struck twelve, but I presented my cheek to you instead. You kept trying to make me even more drunk, but I stopped drinking after two Apple martinis (I think) and Heather's shot of whatever that was. (Yes, I'm a lightweight!) You also tried to tell me that to become a "Rodriguez" you had to take a shot from my belly button, the lemon/line from my lips and salt from my nipples. I refused and walked away from you. Do you feel better now? Is your image restored? LOL! I still know that you are a "secret gentleman"...at least to me, and I will leave it at that. I like being treated well, Gimp. Please don't ever change. Cyber hugs and kisses, ROSA
  21. Thank you so much, Dawn. That is sooo very sweet. I'm sorry, but that is a different pic than the close up of my smile. the pic that you are talking about is on my parent's desktop, and they live an hour away. I am going there tomorrow in the morning, though. I'm sorry to be taking so long to respond, but I wasn't online until late last night. Then, I couldn't find the pic on my desktop here. Thank you, again, for the sweetie-pie PM.
