  1. Ron, I also memorized "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost when I was in junior high school. Although it can come across a little melancholy to some, it will always be another one of my favorite poems of all time because it represents life's cyle and so much more. Thank you so much for posting it.

  3. I've posted this one before, but I will post it again because I love everything that Maya Angelou writes, especially this poem. It's for all my sky sisters, especially the ones that are feeling a little down right now. PHENOMENAL WOMAN Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. I say, It's in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. I say, It's the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth, The swing in my waist, And the joy in my feet. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Men themselves have wondered What they see in me. They try so much But they can't touch My inner mystery. When I try to show them They say they still can't see. I say, It's the arch of my back, The sun of my smile, The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Now you understand Just why my head's not bowed. I don't shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud. When you see me passing It ought to make you proud. I say, It's in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need of my care. 'Cause I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Maya Angelou
  4. Oh Heather, thank you for dancing with me on New Year's Eve in Eloy! From what I remember, you were GREAT! Seriously, it was really fun, and I was a little drunk, as was everyone else...LOL! I feel a little bad now because I took one look at some fellow DZ.commer males and female "dancing" and proclaimed them "whitebread" while LMAO!!! My excuse for that proclamation is that I never drink, and I was drunk...and brutally honest! Sorry guys...you know who your are... Luv you, guys!
  5. OMG! Did you meet the fabulous FF tunnel instructors, Fabian and Juliana? I've never been to Titusville, but they told me that they LO there now.
  6. About 7 years ago, I was a guest at the Playboy mansion for a New Year's party. I went for the novelty of it, but I never returned. He was married at the time, so his party was actually very boring. I have to say that I was a little surprised at how the Playmates and ex-Playmates seemed to be much less attractive in real life. (I don't mean your girlfriend, JSaxton...I've never met her.) Anyway, I purposely stayed away from meeting Hefner that night, but I wouldn't say "no" to maybe seeing what his parties are like now. I remember Pamela Anderson was soooo happy to be there with Tommy Lee (although in the news, they had just broken up). She said "hi" to me as if she knew me as I walked by to look at Hefner's zoo animals. I had a cold, so it was probably also my cold that made me feel bored to be there. I'm still grateful that I had the experience...still an interesting night.

  8. ...I soooo agree...I just turned 30, and each year has been better than the last for...well...10 years I'd say!
  9. OMG! ROFLMAO!!! Well, it will be hard to resist, SkyLord, but I promise not to look at you as a "slab of beef" when we meet...
  10. Ahhh...Rosemary's Baby...the EYES!!! What is wrong with her EYES!?! (Vanilla shrieks and runs away from the screen...)
  11. Is that a keeshond? That is MY dog when she was a puppy. She WAS the CUTEST dog EVER!!! Period.

  14. Yeah, I know. I started LMAO when I read my own post. Should I edit or leave it alone? Edited: typo
  15. Yesterday, I promised Betsy that I would spread the word that Elsinore is back in business. Actually, they were never shut down. They kept open even immediately after the fire. Please, people, do not be discouraged from coming to Elsinore to jump. They are still in business! I am going to go to jump at Elsinore tomorrow, Friday. It may only be for 1/2 day in the afternoon, but I am going. Who else is going? This weekend I will be out of the state on a family weekend trip, but there will be many, many Elsinore regulars coming out to support the dropzone that we love as our second home. Come on out for the weekend, everyone. Staff will be available for tandems and AFF jumps. Experienced jumpers and student jumpers should come out in support of all at Elsinore. Yesterday, the Elsinore staff, myself and a couple of other regulars got together to clean-up the remains of debris from the fire. One of the beloved regulars also brought his bulldozer and took away the final remains. We are getting a new, larger school building (It should already be there), and the staff has all the loaner equipment that they need to do any/all types of AFF/tandem jumps that are requested. There were even tandem jumpers jumping when we began to clean-up. Come on out and bring a friend! Who is coming to Elsinore this weekend!?! Friday Vanillaskygirl Saturday Sunday
  16. Right now, my Bf is 37, and I am 32. My prior BF was 46, and I was 31.
  17. Oh, I just now read parts of your article that mentioned girth. LMAO!!! I was mentioning it on my own without having read that article about girth. Well, there ya go! Edited: LMAO at the article...I've never heard men's penis sizes compared to chocolate ("Sometimes you feel like a nut., sometimes you don't...") or Starbuck coffee cup sizes! OMG!
  18. No thanks!! Thats just too damn big. Sex should be fun, not painful. I would run away screaming... How do the female 'actresses' take it? I mean, that thing would scramble any normal woman's cervix and parts beyond. Ouch!! (Actually, more like AAAAAGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!) LMAO!!! (...and to think that I almost missed this thread) At almost 10 inches...he'd break ME in two. You know, I agree that there is such a thing as too big. (Ouch!) Yet, it is nice when the man is ever so slightly beyond average "downstairs". Also, length alone is not as important as the length/girth combo. Anyway, I do not have tons of experience with many men, so what do I know.
  19. Yes, darn those cell phones. Hey wait, mine worked just fine. Andrea didn't bother to tell me to call you. Blame her. Huh? Btw, your dog has a great name...
  20. Yes, that IS so very, very sad. Btw, I'm going out of state for the weekend, too! There is always next weekend to jump at Elsinore...and the weekend after that...and the weekend after that...and the weekend after that...
  21. LOL! I heard that you did REALLY well, Andrea! Anway, I LOVE that the doggies went on the climbing trip, too! It's too bad that I wasn't there. (Damn those cell phones!)
  22. That's what I hear. I wouldn't know personally...I have a BF.
