Damn, has anyone else noticed how many of us have had or will have surgery around the same time? This is too weird. I already sent my prayers and vibes to Ed, but here's some more ((((((((((((PRAYERS & VIBES)))))))))))) for Ed, Chris and Michele, too!

LOL! Yes, I'm sure that I could "stand" in there. I am about Juliana's size (maybe the tiniest bit smaller). I purposely wanted to learn FF from her as she is so similar in size/shape as me. :) Anyway, I hope to learn HD in the tunnel someday in the future, but I love RW flying more. If I can scrape up the $$$ to do more tunnel time this year, then I will be focusing on belly flying first. :) Of course, I will practice my sitflying in the tunnel at some point, too. Arrrgh...if only I had more $$$....then I could do it all!!!

Wow, you did really well, then. Congrats! :) I am an RW girl, but I took a FF tunnel camp where I was taught to back fly and sitfly. I cannot FF in the sky because of my rig (doesn't fit me well enough...I'm tiny), but it is VERY fun to have the option of using the tunnel for FF! :) I haven't been to the tunnel in Perris, yet, though. I must say that I have the opposite problems as the bigger guys. When the air is turned up high in the tunnel, it is quite a challenge for me to keep my composure (even on my belly) as my body has to work extra hard to fly gracefully while fighting the wind. I have to be very "strong" with all my limbs, etc. while flying, if that makes any sense. It does makes it much easier when I am in the sky, though. ;) I'm glad that you had a great time, and I hope that you have a good video of it all. I have a video that shows my sitfly progression in the tunnel and also shows me doing some cool superpositioning on my back (I looooved back flying...maybe it's because I also love belly flying so much?) The video is waaaaay better than my tunnel pics, which where taken when I first began to try to "sit". The video shows me trying sitfly docking, forward/back/up/down movement, etc. It was so new for me, but (surprise!) I actually did enjoy sitflying. :) LOL! Edited: Btw, I am only 97 lbs., so someday I will be stoked about learning HD in the tunnel. :)

LMAO!!! I TOTALLY understand, Michele. You don't have to see it. Uhhh...but I DO have a video of a laparoscopy of mine. Yes, I saw my uterus, cervix and a whole lot more. I also saw them cautherizing the endo. lesions...which promptly returned. :( Oh well, it was a nice try. Hey! I never did a tandem either. I sadly didn't film any AFFs. I think that it's cool that you have yours on film! Michele, you are in my prayers with your upcoming surgery, sweetie. I know that it's a scary thing to go through, so please know that you are in my thoughts. CHRIS, my dear, I do feel for you, my friend. I am so very sorry that you have to go through all this and for so very, very long, but I hope that you know that you are in everyone's thoughts. I know that you will feel better once they can determine what is going on exactly. I really hope that you know that I will be thinking about you and trying to send all my warmest wishes for a speedy recovery. You will be OK in the end. I just know it.

Kyle, even though I may need an interpretator to read your posts, I want to tell you to please keep your hopes up. I'm still available to help you a little with your dream company (screened tees/graphics, perhaps), if you still need the help. :) That sucks about your father. I'm not sure what you mean, but I hope that he loves you deep down and wants the best for you. Things were so different when our parents were young, especially if they are conservative people. Sometimes parents don't understand all of the dreams of our generation. Your success will prove otherwise. (Btw, I hope that you weren't saying that he wants to physically beat you because that is inexcusable. Try to stay away from that, Kyle.) I know how your feeling right now, but you can survive through the hard times, sweetie. Keep your chin up, my friend. Hi Jake! I downloaded your video, but I cannot open it. :( I am on a MAC in my parents' home. They also have a couple of older PCs, which I will try to download it to. Hopefully, I can open it on one of those. Anyway, you did a beautiful job with my personal video, Jake. I hope that you know how incredibly talented that I think that you are, not to mention a total sweetheart. :) I cannot wait to see what you did with this video. I'm sure that I will LOVE it. FYI, if I am doing 4-way in your Eloy video, those were my 3rd, 4th, and 5th 4-ways ever attempted (and first times wearing a weight belt!), so thanks for not laughing. LOL! :) I hope to see more of you in the US, Jake. I just read that you may be going overseas? :( I hope that isn't the case, my friend. You will surely be missed by all if that is true.

Good God! Has everybody gone mad! These shirts mean nothing. Those screens are a joke! Is it more racist if say... I (obviously NOT Jewish) wore that shirt? LOL! I don't understand why people are so hyper sensitive. That is not a derogatory shirt...is it? I am sooo confused. What about Latin Girls? I'm offended that they don't have shirt for me! I did find other shirts on Urban Outfitters website that were indeed funny... Couldn't some of these be classified as even MORE offensive? 1. Mary is my homegirl! LMAO!!! I also saw a "Jesus is my homeboy" shirt. 2. Everyone loves Italian girls...pizza slices!?! I think that this tee is making fun of that stereotype. 3. Is it disrespectful or ironic to put a pic of the "Virgin Mary" on panties? "Hail Mary" is printed on the back...hee! 4. "Please don't eat me..." is referring to us eating animal meat. This shirt is obviously for vegans. This is the one shirt that I would never wear...lest someone get the wrong idea.

I didn't see Missy's original post, but I inquired a fellow DZ.commer about it after reading this thread. Maybe people need to stop jumping to conclusions with each other's posts. It is rude to try to cause a problem between Missy and Betsey where there may be none. I know that they posted their thoughts on this forum, so everyone thinks that it is not inappropriate to throw in personal comments to them. I think that we should all try to calm down before insinuating anything about anyone. We cannot read their minds. We should just let the two of them work things out between themselves. Anyhoo, Betsey is the bomb and so is Missy. Period. Keep the peace, everyone.

Excellent advice, Jerry. I completely agree with your post even though I threw out a last minute desperate cry for advice, yesterday. (I was overwhelmed.) I carefully weeded out what I really didn't need and stayed focus on how to arrive to my conclusion. I am never impulsive, and I do not make decisions without all my facts. Thankfully, I have taken care of my own decisions concerning my situation. I was able to see that some information from my case had not been shared with me, so it kept me pretty confused as to my options. I am glad that someone helped to point that out. That was all that I needed. Trust me, there were people (good-intentioned) that have no background in the law whose information/advice I immediately set aside. I only decided to get counsel from someone who could shed some light on how I should go about making my decisions. Thank you, again, Jerry, for this post.

Ohhhh...that is an awesome gift for yourself, Dom!!! I'm sooo jealous. Yes, I still haven't made it into Perris' tunnel because I am not able to part with the $$$ right now. I definitely want to eventually do some time there waaaay later...when I can afford it. Btw, sorry, no topless tunnel flying for me! LOL! They were pretty serious about making me use a one-piece tunnel suit and insisted that my 2-piece would be blown up/off... I will take their word for it.~

They are so special...very gifted fliers and instructors. I really wanted a woman to teach me to freefly. When I saw Juliana in the tunnel and heard about her, I knew that she was the freefly instructor for me! I cannot say enough good things about her and Fabian. About the jumpsuits...actuallly, I am wearing Juliana's (she's about my size) jumpsuit, which is baggy because it is easier to fly in the tunnel with a suit with a little more drag. For me, they said that it was OK to wear less drag because I am so small, but we couldn't find a suit small and comfortable enough for freeflying, so I used hers. Below I've attached a close up of how little drag is on my own personal Firefly freefly suit has in the legs. I couldn't wear my suit because it is a 2-piece. It was explained that the force of the air in the tunnel would leave me topless! Scary thought! ~
