  1. If the Feds wanted to cut the lines, don't you think that they'd be doing a little more than pulling the phone cords out of the jacks? Not if they wanted to make it....."look".....like somebody else did it. I...."know"....they're out to get us, though. I've seen the black helicopters.
  2. I'd love to see that S.O.B. put on his armor and jump on in.
  3. I'm not saying there weren't many...many who couldn't get out. I'm just wondering how flyangel2 knows that this is the case for most of them. I think there were probably a whole bunch of idiots who decided to ride it out and take their chances. I feel sorry for those who had no choice. I have a very hard time feeling as sorry for those who were just stupid. It's a shame their children have to suffer along with them.
  4. How do you know this? I'm not saying that they did or didn't. Just wondering how you came to that assumption.
  5. No. I would have gotten the F-out (with my family) when I saw that thing barreling towards me on the weather channel. If I was there, however, you're right in that I would be doing whatever I could to survive. I think I could live without the 10 TV's from Wal-Mart that I didn't pay for though. I'm seeing parking lots full of people just stealing shit on the news. I wish they could round up all those people and prosecute them later. Pisses me off.
  6. Right. Check out the news. A bunch of them feel like they need a new TV and car stereo to go along with that bread and water. It's nice of you to come to the defense of these thugs, though. Somebody's got to do it... I guess.
  7. I was thinking the EXACT same thing this morning. My guess is a big fat zero. It just doesn't seem to work that way. But damnit, we owe the rest of the world in their times of need.
  8. If kept in context, I doubt you can come up with one, even from the Old Testament, which supports a Christian position of advocating the assassination of a government leader. Pssst.... I'm saying that I think Pat was wrong on this one. I think I'm on your side for a change.
  9. I didn't ask what certain people's opinions were. I asked how they would back it up Biblically. I don't know. Do you?
  10. Let's keep it in the context of assassination Bill. There is justifiable killing in war. However, this is different. We're not at war with this guy. He is the leader of a country whether we like how he got there or not. I think you'd be hard pressed to find in the Bible where it would justify killing under those circumstances. You can't just lump sum it all under the umbrella of "killing in the name of God."
  11. Ok. Same goes for him. I don't see how he could justify it either. I don't care if he was the Pope.
  12. That shalt not kill...unless the priest thinks we ought to? I wonder how he backs his position biblically. I don't think he can. I think he's way off base with this one. I know he mentioned in his statement that it would save a lot of money & people by taking the easy way out but I don't think that jives with his Christian background and teachings.
  13. Well, maybe they had a right to do it. I don’t know. However, I dare say that the Vietnam Memorial is sanctioned by the majority whereas Sheehan’s left-wing fringe movement is not. That father was well within his rights to remove his son’s name from their makeshift memorial. I would have done exactly the same.
  14. Why would listing names be necessary at all? Their point can be made quite well without displaying personal information.
  15. Absolutely. I would be very ticked off. They can use crosses of whatever all day long but don't put my son or daughter's name on it for your political gain. That was out-of-line on their part. Then again (before you start Bill), it was also out-of-line for that dumbass to run over the crosses with his truck. Those spineless, jellyfish, worm, stink-hippie, squatters are allowed to protest and express themselves in this country (to a degree).
  16. I think it's pretty obvious that she's being used as a poster girl for the liberal activists who are supporting her now. Maybe her intentions were sincere (maybe they still are) but it's gone way beyond that now. She has every right to do what she's doing. However, her views are extreme and so are those of the activists with her. I think the American public sees right through all this garbage. Sadly, however, I think it brings dishonor to those still fighting and those who have fallen. Added: She has plenty of support . "Together with other liberal activist groups True Majority and Democracy for America, MoveOn.org said it plans to hold more than 1,400 candlelight vigils across the country Wednesday night to show support for Sheehan"
  17. No, but I'd prefer it really be about her son and not all the extreme left wing B.S.
