Umm... Booties are not flat against the skin.
The front part isnt, I know. But I thought ideally the back of the legs should lay against your skin, not bunch up? Am I right, or am I missing something...? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

yeah but more material = more drag, and something I can't deal with at 125 pounds I need a solution that will keep the leg area flat against my skin.. maybe its not possible --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

yeah, but theyre riding up, making the legs baggy, wouldn't making a "stirrup" (good word!) fix this? I guess I am going to try to fiddle around with it this afternoon and see what I can come up with... --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

newbie question, but wouldn't leaning back slightly make you start to slide around the sky, specifically moving you foward? I thought in a stand or headdown you needed to be pretty damn straight to not start racing all around the sky? Thanks. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

Im going to neither, but you should change it to allow multiple options, since Im sure some people are going to both. Rawk on, dude. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

i recently acquired a used jumpsuit. Its great all except the bottom edge of the pants seem to want to "ride up". This is kinda annoying, plus Im worried that I will have fall rate issues, as I need the suit to ride FLAT and TIGHT against my legs. Would sewing a tight elastic strap that connects to each side of the hem of the bottom of the pants legs and goes under my shoe, be the solution to this problem? Im pretty sure I can do it myself, if I can just find some elastic material. Any suggestions? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

true, when I first started skydiving, admittedly 3 months ago, I was suprised as hell at the lack of "rules" for air traffic. With firmer guidelines collisions would be less likely, no matter what the WL of the canopy pilot is. Im still shocked everytime I pull at 3.5k-3k (what everyone else pulls at my DZ for the most part) how crazy and hectic it is. Kinda scary in light of the recent canopy collisions. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

Anatomy of a high performance landing
andy2 replied to raymod2's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Great job, this is a straight in approach youre talking about, right? Your writing style "clicked" in my brain. Post some stuff about toggle/riser turn landings! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... -
think I'm gonna pull at 1000 tomorrow. I need to feel alive.
if youre gonna pull low to feel alive why not pull at around 650-700 ft? Make sure you pack well. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
I hope you post some of your work someday.
But don't post any movies where you're naked walking in a river. Please. Let the chicks be naked though, yeeeehaw! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

I need information about Jonathan 150 canopy!!!
andy2 replied to Nike76's topic in Safety and Training
or post it here if you got any info instead of keeping it private. I'm curious too --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... -
yoshi, did you order custom colors, or was it stock? Just curious. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

this brings up a question I have, how many people consciously count while skydiving? Or is it more of a subconscious thing for you? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

eek, steer clear of the medication unless you've been to a doctor and had several opinions that you actually need it. Even tylenol PM is habit forming and can send ripple effects through your sleep patterns for days to come. The sleep induced medicinally is not as fitful as real, natural sleep. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

sitting next to someone you do not like.......
andy2 replied to cloudseeker2001's topic in The Bonfire
offer to go on a dive with her, pick up her jump ticket. Maybe then she'll like you. It's easier to like someone when they like you. Or you could just give her nasty looks back --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... -
those things are so damn good. Man, you got me hungry. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

I was just about to recomend running or swimming in the morning. Lifting weights will put you in lala land come bedtime too. Take bill's words as words of wisdom though, don't lift weights etc too short before going to bed. Your muscles will be twitching and spasming all night . Doesn't help the lactic acid from clearing. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
Paul Oakenfold
Damn I wish they played electronic music at the DZ that I jump at. It's like 100% ROCK AND ROLL! Which is good, but in an entirely different way. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

can someone who is heads up about this subject point me in the direction of website(s) that have FAQish type stuff on the process of obtaining your pilots license. I wish to begin working on it soon but am kinda lost on where to start. Thanks! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

thank you! That put it into perspective. I think when I start freeflying, in 20 or so jumps, I'll do a few solos but then very quickly jump right into coached jumps. I'm looking foward to it. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
