Hey guess what...............I am flying out to Perris the 19th thru the 23rd as well but into Ontario. Had to do a relax dive between level 3 and 4 cause I had a little "natural spin" going on (joked that ne boob was bigger then the other causing it)....had a rainy weekend, snuck away to the tunnel to practice, ended up some competition was going on and EVERYONE from my DZ was there but it still was a tremendous help!! Almost failed Level 5 just for geeking the camera ( shame on me) at pull time but I got a slap on the hand and was told "don't let it happen again". I can't believe it's been almost a year since I started AFF (2/14/03) and have nearly 400 jumps! Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Sebastian has showers...and sometimes there even warm but you come play our way over your Spring Break and I'm sure we can find you and for fellow travelers a place to have a nice warm shower! It's Official......Sebastian will be the place to be the weekend of the 19th - 21st . Let's see, PD will be there, Birdman will be there, Pink Mafia will be representing (yes LOTS OF GIRLS ), there will be DJ's at night, there is a nice little Tiki bar and talks of potentially even beach jumps...YUP - BEACH JUMPS! Cool tiki bar, fire pit to kick up a notch if needed (hee hee) and just lots of people....and the people are just fab-u-loso! Florida in March you say? I am guessing Orlando would be your best bet at about 1.5 hours away.....it should be warm then as well ......and although I am an hour from the DZ, I've got plenty of space for a few house guests...or I have camping gear I am willing to share so you can make first load each morning of your vacation. Well I know what is UP for March......Sebastian is going to have a kick ass boogie from March 19 - 21. Why don't you bring that gang and come play on OUR coast! I'm not sure what the official NAME is yet but I heard about a couple DJ's, PD, Birdman and lots of other goodies. Sebastian is always fun....camp out, socialize out by the Tiki bar, and get up the next morning when the prop starts - ready to go! Welp - that is what my March has in store for me as of now and to think...this time last year I was still a student. Can't wait to see some of the old faces and show them my "stuff" Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I guess I'll just keep my ears posted for fun things to do this year. Right now all I have planned is a small trip to Perris in a few weeks and of course always keeping Summerfest a tentative date for the summer.............but there are so many OTHER places I have yet to see as well. Not enough weekends and not enough cash .... I did visit Emerald Coast last year and although only got to make a few jumps - seemed like good people. Never got to do the Flora-Bama jump which was the reason I traveled there but such is life...Perhaps I will be back to party with the gang this year......but DAMN that is a long ass drive for me! Thanks for the comments JT....coaching is a fabulous thing, and I am not above saying I don't need more of it ~ I've still got TONS to learn because this was just my first year. Be my progress slow or fast, I continue to learn on every jump. I'm not sure what the normal progression of a skydiver is but I think I have definitely erred towards the conservative side - making sure I personally was comfortable and confident with each step I was taking. Hence why I hung on to my Sabre2-150 for nearly 400 jumps when I knew I was not able to really FLY it....but it allowed me to learn safely and comfortably all the things you could do and how to respond if "things" happened. It's just my way - taking the safe road so buying a camera has many issues for me to consider.....the extra weight on my head/neck, the potential for riser pops, the snag of everyone wanting video, etc. Granted coaching might boost my learning curve but Ihave been thinking perhaps so could flying a camera, even on those solos when the horizon is all I have to base things. I am not in a mad rush to be a pro .....I just want to keep getting better and ok fine - I would like to think come 2005 I might get invited to be part of the next girls record attempt I appreciate everyone's opinions and suggestions, they are helping make the decision....but it is kinda nice just seeing that bank account ovedr $1K for the first time in over a year

JESHE - I wake up this morning what seems ALMOST turned into a fist fight last night on my little "just asking" thread. It's all relative really and it all matters on the individual....I am just torn. I've done coaching but of course could always use more. I've also got lots of video of me but would love the opportunity to do and see more from MY perspective. I'll sort it out but thanks to ALL for your opinions and suggestions... @ Carlos.....I'm game for that potential freefly team but we MUST discuss that "name" Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

If I get the camera, it would be strictly for me...I was thinking it could be a coach of sorts so I know what I do on those solos when I am a bit clueless but also the point of having it would be to capture those special memories (for me and others). I'm a dork like that and have already missed some milestone moments...but there will always be more moments . Maybe I'll sleep on it.....I've been saying I wanted a camera for the last 100 jumps, it was to be my "prize" for getting on my head. Now that I can get on my head I can almost talk myself out of it cause of the money - but I'm going to want one eventually......just have to decide on NOW or LATER Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
