This BCS system has been screwed for years - remember 1990 when GA TECH and Colorado split the National Championship? GT was #1 in the UPI and CO #1 in the AP (despite 5 downs given them against MO). From the responses I've seen so far I am inclined to agree with you my friend. Anger from gregory - quite warranted I believe - and moronic blather from elsewhere. For the record, I don't think Bush is a great president but don't feel he's doing a bad job either. I think I'd rate him better than average right now. I DO feel the campaign tactics by the Democratic Party on the national stage with regards to race are both racist in nature and designed to further the racial stratification of America. Makes me sad because a two party system is a good thing (three would be better I think) and such tactics are a large part of the many reasons Zell Miller said it best - it is a national party no more. Foreign aid, military aid, joint military operations, port visits by naval/coast guard vessels, personnel exchange, trade schedules, MFN trade status, etc are ALL examples of diplomacy in operation. I too take humor in chiding the left about being the party of appeasement - they've EARNED the reputation through diligence and hard work. However, not all diplomacy is handled militarily.
