    I don't get it. FallRate
  2. If the nippies are real, their real enough. FallRate
  3. Hmm...Are inspections stickers placed on new units, or only after scheduled checks? I was thinking that the unit was probably manufactured in 2002, and was deemed non-airwirthy in August 2002 after the accident. FallRate
  4. If you really want to stop biting your nails, just don't wash your hands after you use the bathroom next time. That would keep my fingers out of my mouth. FallRate

Yep, not a nice reply. Nope, don't work for 'em...I have a soul. FallRate

I really hope you're joking! I'd hate to think that the only thing you have against them is that you couldn't join in on their "fun". If this is not a joke, please avoid law enforcement altogether and it might be a good idea to see about having yourself sterilized! FallRate
  7. I vote for a "thread lock" before this even gets started!!! FallRate
  8. Shouldn't you be in school, young lady!? FallRate
  9. I'm pretty sure I did try Ebay at some point. FallRate
  10. Hmm, no replies. Jealous!? FallRate
  11. Nope, I moved from Columbus, OH a year ago. My real home is (now called) Skydive Wayne County. But I live about 60 miles from Fargo now. Have not been there much this year though. FallRate
  12. I'm heading down on Saturday to introduce a couple of co-workers to the sport. Hoping to get 'em hooked. That way I'll have someone to talk to at work. Most people I work with want to have my voice-box removed. FallRate
  13. I finally got it: A 1/72 plastic scale model of a Super Otter made by Matchbox (circa 1989, maybe). Got it from a shop in the Netherlands. Yippee! I can die now. Or I can figure out something else to spend the next six months looking for. By the way, Hobbycraft has announced that they plan to release a Twin Otter model, but thus far have not done so. So for the time being, my model is special. FallRate
  14. Watching Max X tonight (I only have one channel), and the episode is devoted to police chases. In one of the little episodes a couple of guys wrecked their car and then tried to hide in a river. The cops sent two German Shepherds in to do "something". (?!) One of the guys drug a dog underwater and was subsequently charged with attempting to kill a police dog. I have heard of this before, the cops unleash the dogs. The "suspect" doesn't feel like having his nose bitten off so he clocks the dog, and then winds up with felony charges of assaulting a police officer. !!!!!!!!!?????????? I give the world three more years! FallRate
  15. I can imagine that Texas weather isn't always the best, but when I was down there in February it was perfect! Definitely going back to San Marcos! FallRate
  16. Your irritation is due to a misquote, the saying is actually "eat your cake and have it too". This makes quite a bit more sense. It's like having five grand in the bank, which is really nice to have, and wanting a new rig. To get one you must give up the other. I have always taken the intent of the quote to be a criticizism of those who want to make gains without sacrifice. One less thing to be pissed off about now. FallRate
  17. What? And not once did you stop by for our parties! Harrumph!!! FallRate
  18. Maintenance!? On a jump-plane!? Where the hell do you jump!? FallRate
  19. Geesh! I must have read the email wrong, I thought you were Mike and that Mike had the other nick. I really need to cut back on the drugs. But, back to the point...you owe beer. FallRate
  20. Not really concerned about whether or not you can land it. I wouldn't plan on being anywhere near the thing while its being stol...err, relocated. FallRate
  21. Yes!!! But the sad fact is that I still owe you money for the Hotel Room in Florida. I forgot about it. Guess I'll have to take a vacation to Florida soon to give you the money!!! FallRate
  22. I have an idea for making sure that there is a Jet at the next WFFC. I work in Grand Forks, ND but I shuttle to Thief River Falls, MN on a nightly basis to launch a feeder Caravan to GFK. Anyway, about three weeks ago an American Airlines 727-200 showed up at the TVF ramp. Curious as to why, I asked the airport manager. Apparently AA DONATED this plane to the local A&P school!!! This is an airworthy 727 which currently has 21,000 pounds of fuel on board, and it is scheduled to be ripped apart by mechanics in training. This is just wrong!!! That poor plane deserves better! So here's the plan. All I need is a 727 crew willing to liberate an airworthy 727 from the death sentence that is about to be imposed on it. Any takers??? On a more serious note, the school might be willing to sell the thing on the cheap. Kirlin!? FallRate
