  1. I could be wrong, but I would think that if a felon can't vote, he also can't run for office. FallRate
  2. He has now become a skydiver...well, there goes the 26 year marriage! Congrats!!! FallRate
  3. I posted this once before, but it seems to fit here too. My Father, a retired cop (also a son to a cop), told me something once when I was considering a career in law enforcement: "The Criminal Justice System is a shitty system, has nothing at all to do with Justice, but IS entirely criminal!" Over the years he has related to me quite a few stories which have illustrated his point quite well. So, no trace of faith in the "system" from this guy! I feel as great a threat from the Law Enforcement Community as I do from the average criminal. A necessary evil perhaps, but evil none the less. And if you happen to be a cop, or prosecutor, or judge that takes offense to this, well...good! FallRate
  4. I was going to be there over the 4th of July weekend, but I can't leave right now. Of course the Boogie is on my schedule..."on my schedule"!? Ha, try one of the two weeks during the year that gives me a reason to go on living. (The other being the Winter Trip.) But, as I have realized over the last couple of weeks, even this year's Boogie isn't definite. Sucks ass, but I can't leave home right now. FallRate
  5. If you had applied the least amount of effort to reading comprehension while going over my post, which you obviously did not, you would have noticed that I am well aware that it could be interpreted as mean, insulting or rude. That is why I stated that it was not meant to be as such. Just an observation. May I recommend a Midol? FallRate
  6. OK, this is not meant to be mean, insulting or rude...but the name "Colon Berry" sounds like a euphemism for "turd". Think about it. Please don't take offense, Mr. Berry!!!
  7. Dude, you beat me to it. Admittedly, I would've had to have cracked my physics text. But the force of the initial acceleration would not be the only physiological limiting factor. A much greater force than would normally be accounted for in the "academic exercise" of launching a body to 15,000 feet would be required to overcome the induced (?) drag. So I'm guessing if you could survive the G's, you wouldn't survive the incinerating resultant heat. FallRate
  8. ROFL...Dude, it's fun for now, but that Crack you're smoking will take its toll! FallRate

You don't need an excuse to stay in bed forever, you just have to embrace the lifestyle! FallRate
  10. Okee-dokee, I'll email. Must be a guilty conscience, but I'm really trying to figure out what I might have done to piss anyone off lately. I hate surprises! FallRate
  11. On the DVD bios is states that Charisma Carpenter enjoys "Skydiving", among other things. Do you suppose she did a tandem once, or is there any chance she's an experienced jumper? Oh yeah, if she does happen to be an experienced jumper and you have had the pleasure of jumping with her...Bugger Off!!! You overly fortunate bastard!!! FallRate
  12. Yep, that's what I figured. FallRate
  13. I'm pretty sure that this is a sign of the Apocolypse, but I have become a "Buffy The Cleavage Displayer" fan. There is, of course, an excuse!!! Lately I have only been able to watch TV once a week, and living in THE boonies without cable, only one channel has decent reception. So a few months ago I started watching the show (re-runs) and have since become quite engrossed in the storyline. I even *gulp* purchased the first two seasons on DVD to catch up. There are two things I want to find out here...First, is this actually a really entertaining sci-fi, sitcom, PG-13 horror show, mellow-drama...or should I be shot? Opinions? Second, why in the hell do the Brits have seasons 3, 4 and 5 on DVD already!? We don't...not fair! Oh yeah! Anyone else think that Willow (Alyson Hannigan) is the real hottie on the show? That concludes my post-whore activities for this week. Thank you...I'll stop now...have to see about that medication. FallRate
  14. Question!? I was required to do a hop-n-pop on my AFF progression. Is it not required in all progressions? FallRate
  15. OK, to get a headstart... No, I don't think the French are dumb. Yes, I do think we should eat them. FallRate
  16. Dinner is about the only thing a purebreed dog is good for...stubborn, arrogant and dumb (all of that inbreeding takes its toll) Much like the English Royal Family, the Kennedy clan and the French. FallRate
  17. I hate getting into threads late... OK, so along with the high self-esteem, will the muppet actually become ill? Do we get to see the muppet's HIV-positive status deteriorate into a full blown case of AIDS? Do we get to watch the muppet slowly die over the course of several years? Do we get to watch Big Bird wipe this muppet's ass when she no longer has the ability to do it herself? Or will this muppet be strong and healthy for the next 33 years of Sesame Street? Granted, with current medications a reasonably healthy life can be achieved for some. But this is a much less common outcome on the African continent, or the inner cities of the United States. I'm not insinuating that an HIV-positive character is wrong; though it does seem to be inherently problematic. Just curious as to how the Producers of Sesame Street plan to deal with the development of the character. FallRate
  18. I could be wrong about it's reliability, but I really like the fact that I have an integrated Cordura BOC on my rig. FallRate
  19. New name? "Stainmaker"! FallRate
  20. Actually, the original Time Machine was written by H.G. Wells. Maybe H.G. Wells did have a time machine and he and George Orwell are the same person. Or...perhaps they are the same person but neither is the real person. This person could be from the 25th century, stopping every now and then in times past to predict the future in writing. His real name is probably Harry George Orwells, or something like that. FallRate "Do you believe the FBI is doing enough to prevent the July 18 Terrorist Attacks!?
  21. I understand that...they are useful. I have a friend who tells his students: "You have to be pretty stupid to let a planet sneak up on you." In those terms it does seem a little funny. FallRate
