I would like to post a humorous response to this but I may someday want to take and pass the AFF Certification Course. So I'll refrain. FallRate

Unrecognizable, unless she happens to be one of those strange female creatures who has figured out that applying makeup is a remarkably large waste of life's precious time and resources. Not that I'm a fanatical advocate of the natural look. It's just that ugly is ugly regardless of what color you paint it. FallRate

Good point Bill. While the Crusades took place members of the US Government did nothing to prevent them. They just sat back and waited for their great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandparents to be born. Seriously Bill, crack is a bad idea. FallRate

I'm planning a trip via rail in about two weeks. My Home DZ Winter Trip will be taking place at Z-hills this year and I'm really hoping to join 'em (considering that I had to miss the Boogie this year...FUCK!). Anywho, the cost of flying from Grand Forks, ND or Fargo, ND to FL is around $400 (20 jump tickets). Screw that! I know that $400 isn't really that much but I'm used to being able to fly for less. Luckily, while being stuck in BFE, North America there happens to be an Amtrak station close by. So I originally planned to take the train to Minneapolis ($60 round trip) and fly out there, which would save me a few bucks. But a coworker made the suggesion of taking the train to Chicago ($120 round trip) so I can take advantage of our company discount and fly Southwest to Florida ($70 round trip...BooYa!!!) [Knocking On Wood] So it appears I'll be taking the train to Chicago in a couple of weeks. [/Knocking On Wood] Should be fun. FallRate

Ahh, we have a second. The motion will now be brought to a vote. Mr. Speaker, please call the roll. FallRate

Any individual who takes it upon himself or herself to create a thread which is political in nature will owe exactly one case of beer to his or her skydiving brethren. (NO CYBER-BEER!!!) As this motion is now presented to the floor, do I hear a second??? FallRate

Sniper victims families' suing manufactuer and store
FallRate replied to prepheckt's topic in The Bonfire
This lawsuit seems entirely reasonable. Obviously the manufacturer and store can be held responsible because without them this couldn't have happened as it did...it could have happened in a somewhat similar manner if the snipers had used a different gun from a different store, but that doesn't deal with the "reality" of the situation. In reality, a specific gun made by a specific manufacturer was acquired from a specific store to commit specific murders. So the manufacturer of the gun and proprietor of the store can be credited, albeit in a small way, to giving rise to these murders. But that's not all. The manufacturer, distributor and dealer of the vehicle that was used for cover during the actual shootings should probably also be held equally responsible as they, albeit in a small part, contributed to the success of each shooting. There's more. Unless the sniper collected water from a natural source to satisfy his biological need for hydration, someone is definitely at fault for making sure the sniper had a ready supply of water. Had the sniper not had such an easy time of remaining hydrated he certainly wouldn't have been capable of carrying out the murders. (Not knowing by what means or methods the sniper quenched his thirst, we should probably focus our attention on all persons and organizations that promote the collection, filtering and transportation of this obviously deadly compound known as water.) And some people just assume lawsuits are frivolous before hearing any of the facts. FallRate -
The answer to the question of "When is it rape?", is rather easy: It is rape whenever SHE decides it is (or was). To date this is the single best argument for homosexuality! FallRate

There were a few complaints about that video at the time of its release. It was believed to promote violence against women. Some people have too much time on their hands! FallRate

I did somewhat the same thing once. I was curious as to whether or not cats actually eat rodents so I held one of our baby gerbils in front of my cat, by the tail. The cat got the whole gerbil in her mouth while I still had hold of the tail. One quick slap to the back of the cat's head and the gerbil was free...no teeth-marks, which was good. In my defense, I was six years old. What's your excuse!? FallRate
